simple dtw yes but but recirculating drain to waste seems like a nightmare.
Its really very easy to set up:

Kitty litter bucket filled with perlite, and two PVC elbows for the drain. Drench the perlite and wait for it to stop draining. Then just place a small container (I use the bottom of a laundry detergent container) that holds a quart of so of nute solution and place your pump in it. Put it on a timer so it runs for a just a few minutes several times a day. I just top off the container daily.

It ain't pretty but it works. I have not had any root problems with this setup (knock on wood) for about a year and a half.

My next one is going into an 18 gallon tote. Gonna see if I can get a really big plant this time.

a chiller is required. runs a minimum of 270 bucks for a 1/10 hp one works for 4 buckets and a res. 67 degrees and I add hydroguard bacillus to colonize the rhizo so other bad bacteria dont grow.
That chiller will chill a good 50-75 gallons to 68 in a 72-78* environment no problem.

What ratio do you add the micro? I’m about to switch to jacks 321 but my boosters were going to be monoammonium Phosphate, Monopotassium Phosphate, potassium sulfate, magnesium sulfate, & DB sugar.
(Homemade Terpinator, Hammerhead, & MOAB)
You don’t use Fulvic of humic?
