8 bulb 2' T5 Tent

they are doing great in the 84 so i just got some money for my lighs so im thinkin either a 4 bulb t5 added to my 8 bulb for 140.00 or a 400w dimmable cooled hood for 260.00 what you think? will the 400w be too hott even in a cooled hood

Do you plan on keeping your tent in the closet? I'd go with the addt'l T5's, I totally love them and you know how to get the best from them. Too hot with the HPS and the replacement bulbs are pretty costly. And what if your cooled hood fails when your not home? I get real nervous about fire....
that hps setup intimidates me....Love the t5 though ;)
 
Good decision.....it's gonna be so badass with all those t5's :)
$ for a vacation to AK to visit bumps and go fishing....lol :)
 
So went to my local hydro shop and picked up another hydrogen designer t5 2' 4 bulb and some fox farm big bloom all for 150$. It was tax free Friday and he threw in 2 bottles of root enhancer for free so I saved about 45 in savings and got 20$ worth of root enhancer couldn't beat it, was tryna get an led he had for 160$ that was selling for someone else but couldn't get ahold of him that one led he said he got 4 oz under it so I finnaly found a company that makes LEDs for our needs and not other plant needs will post pics tonight when lights turn on
 
Sounds good man. Did it come with the 6500k or 2700k bulbs?

Hydrogen?? You mean Hydrofarm right? Maybe umm, spellcheck on phone? lol

Plants are going to love the new lights.

4 oz. under an LED??? What kind of LED? seems like alot. definately not off of 1 plant
 
thanks, and yea i actually would of spent more on amazon then buying it form this shop so a big + and the led is a kessil h150 but he was using dwc. anyways i was talking to him and he knows the owner of this company and the owner designed them specific PAR for our needs not other plant needs
 
oh and hydrofarm only comes with 6500k but im gunna swap some bulbs in both fixtures to even out the spectrum till i grab some more 2700k

2700k is used for flower. although people use a mixed spectrum with the 2700k in veg. I Recommend a 3:1 Ratio
 
Ok so here's part of it my camera did t come FedEx called and said they scuffed up the label to where it was unreadable, I need to get some more 2700k but one of the kush plants hairs are pink

Yeah that light will definitely help/nice coverage.....only suggestion I give you(not that you want it :))...is to lower the thermostat to canopy level(more accurate reading);It will always be higher(+4-6degrees) when placed above the lights.........the girls look healthy and happy brother.....great grow..

I got a thermometer under the lights directly also sir I like to know the temps up top and down below
