70 watt hps or 125 watt enviro?

Hi all,
I have a small space to grow my plants its 2ftX2ftX3ft high (height is adjustable).
I will only have a powerfull PC case fan for ventialtion with a passive intake.I could possiably have a 2nd fan to point at the lights I will be using ona or something like that for odor control. (Carbon filter too expensive and inline fans too noisy sound is an issue for me)
Today I got a 70 watt HPS security light (Built in Ballst)for £5, it looks new too.

My question is do I ? :

a: get another 70 watt hps or
b: get a 125 watt envirolite (red)

I will work out what to do for vegging later or would my plants veg ok with the above? I could get a wider spectrum HPS bulb if such a thing exists.

I am hoping to grow a couple of Northern lights with some sort of screen to train them to stay low. I think Northern lights a a low odor strain also a nice stoney smoke.

Thanks in advance

i have seen what those 70 watters can do they are nice little lights for a small area ...i would get another one of those ..however heat and ventilation are always an issue to think of

too.a: get another 70 watt hps or
b: get a 125 watt envirolite (red)
I'd get the blue 6500 K envirolite for veging then add it to the case for flowering if you felt you needed more light and can keep it cool. The blue light will keep your plant more compact.

Thx for tips so far but I still cant decide.
Not much in it in terms of initial cost so its a tough choice.

Just what sort of heat can I expect from adding a 2nd 70w HPS or a 125w Enviro will my cpl of PC fans cope?

The grow box will be in a wooden un-heated building on a friends land. It will also only be used during the colder UK winter months with the lighting only on during the Night and coldest part of the day.

Which will give me best flowering performance a 2nd 70w HPS or a 125w Enviro

Any input welcome.

Thanks for the comments so far I am still trying to decide. No rush, and plannings half the fun.

I agree the HPS will penatrate better than the envirolite but I was wondering would the additional wattage of the 125w enviro make up for this?

Which would give off the most heat.?

I have to bear in mind the dimensions of my cabinet and my inabilty to provide any more airflow than a pair of PC fans will give.
The intake will be passive ( A hole in the floor) .

I have also just seen a Flouro fitting that takes D bulbs at 38 watt. It said 3000+ lumens. I could mount a pair of these on the side walls instead of getting either of the above they come in cool white which would benefit the vegging stage.

I am swaying toward the extra HPS but dont fancy shelling out more for a vegging light.

If I went the CFL / Flouro way and got cool white bulbs for vegging would those also give my HPS a boost when flowering?

Lots of questions there - sorry folks.
