im fairly certain that just about everyone on here has sold part of thier harvest at one point or another even if its just a few gs to friends or family that still constitutes distribution

gosh dang JJO5 how did you corrupt a thread about the resiliency of cannabis during floods into an ethics discussion on selling cannabis? I'm interested in how those plants do - this seems like a great thread for somewhere else.

People grow tobacco, corn, beans, asparagus, watermelon, carrots, squash, and I could go on ad nausium ad infinitum to sell. I have never heard anyone say that growing cabbage should only be OK if you intend to eat all you grow. Growing something to sell is as old as agriculture and economics. Why is it so bad to grow something for the purpose of selling it?

LOL that IS funny, I wish harm on no one or their project but karma does have a way of taking care of that on it's own anyways...I never did an update but luckily the flood waters here never made it the extra 5' the USGS hydrologic service predicted..my lowest lying plot was Iranian autoflowers and they went completely underwater for a couple of days...those were nothing but muddy slime balls that turned to moldy muddy slime balls lol but the rest of the plots were only under a foot or so of river water if at all... Now the mosquito population is so bad that literally a hundred of them swarm you to the point they hardly seem affected by repellant lol even wearing long sleeves, pants, etc I am still covered in bites by the time I get out...it's really quite shitty but the love for what I'm doing makes it all worth it.

May we all be so fortunate in life JJ05, sounds like a trustafarian to me though I'm not passing judgement. I didn't grow up fortunate in the motherfucking least, and I've been puffin chron since i was 12, because it my MEDICINE! AN I had zero access my state had yet to go medical and I started where so very many of us do, with a 400w closet grow! Turned that a few times, and upgraded to a 4k grow, turned it a few times and went 8K! Now I have a government issue badge and work in facilities with 200 lights minimum and the company I WORK, yes WORK for has close to 1800 lights burning throughout the state that I've personally seen! So unless you live in a self sustaining sovereign state capitalism still reigns whether I agree with it or not.

and to ET the REAL reason we're here: sorry to hear about your auto flowers but happy for the ones that survived! may you see them through to full ripeness!

Hey bro, anything with buds become muddy moldballs...I tried to wish it all off but the buds were literally packed full of dirt..it was a total loss of about half of my early finishers..anything that went underwater was ruined by the muddy water, basically.

I think the plant deserves more than people labeling it to their own standards and assuming that it should only be used for the purpose(s) they see fit.
