thanks! Im starting to see pistils now its been a week of 12/12, ill post some updates later this week or early next week when they really start to show. The fungus gnats are almost completely gone thanks to a 3 pronged approach of hydrogen peroxide in the water, diatomasecos earth on the soil and sticky traps placed around the tent

the girls looked so pretty today I thought id get a quick pic. Theres tops everywhere!!

lmao, agreed, I bought one (cheap/chinese) 400W LED for my first indoor grow, impressed me so much I just bought a 150W for clones/mother tent and this one has a veg switch, draws .43A/60W on veg only which is exactly what I want it for, like running an old 60W lightbulb At the prices these days you can afford to buy a backup and still pay less than some brand names if you're that concerned. The "don't use chinese LED's" argument sounds like years ago, people buying only brand name computers because they were better, which were made in China, everything's made in china, get over it, pllllease...

smell isn't to strong yet, gotta really stick ur nose in there to get a good wiff but it definatly smells good only 2 months to go lol

The plant on the left is female. The stretchieness is not a bad thing though. I have seen this before.
These three plants are the last of my seeds from about 5 years ago.
One of the plants was a bit taller and showed sex earlier than any of the other plants. It stretched a bit more in flower, yielded big and had a great, more sativa leaning buzz. It was probably the most fruity weed I ever grew.

I'm pretty sure this is the same pheno. Game changer for me. I'm pretty sure the other two are females as well. They will show in the next few days.
So, I'm going to veg the two short ones and probably grow them out in my tent. I'm going to grow out the tall plant and take some clones and make feminized seeds with those clones.

I was just going to take what ever I got and make feminized seeds and I got the one pheno that I wish I kept years ago.
Sometimes it is better to be fortunate than good.

Just read through, very nice grow! Hopefully led prices drop in the near future =) can't wait to hear about the yield you pull off

I think their reasonably cheap now if u get proper direct from china unit, more expensive startup cost then HID or Flurosent setups for sure but the lights last 5+ years before needing replacement so they pay for themselves over and over again not just in enrgy and cooling costs but bulb costs as well.

I also cant wait to see my yield Dark cycle right now I'll pull em out for some pics tommorow

Hey folks! We're about 2 weeks into 12/12 now and the plants are budding up real nice, bud sites along the whole length of the colas. Ive stopped foliar feeding now that im in flower Ive watered once since my last update and feed with a strong dose of advanced nutrients connoisseur. now I only check on them twice a day to see how their doing. Ive really gotta try and avoid looking at my plants for the next 8 weeks or so or I might smoke em lol

I purchased a 240watt LED from the eBay link you posted. It was an easy deal and they shipped DHL express from China. The light looks great and seems to work well. I have my very first seed, in my very first grow under it now. Thanks for the post and the link, I can only hope my little girl grows up to be big and beautiful like yours!!!

This is one of the shorter Blueberry plants grown under the LED, it was a male and killed a few days ago. I kept it around for a few days after I realized it was male, because he was so healthy and I got my BB sativa pheno.

The other plant is probably male too.
So the two shorter plants turned out to be male.

Adjorr, awesome thread. Has taught me a few things. I am a newbie who is in homework mode still but have been doing a ton of reading and now its getting to the point of getting confused because everyone has their own method that works for them, I know all about that as I was into salt and freshwater tanks, corals and PDFs etc and doing that, many have "their" ways of doing things. I feel I am ready for the next step in searching for equipment and making some purchases to get the ball rolling.

I'm wanting to do a closet build 2x3x8 tall. Cannot wait to get started! Keep up the good work, and one day Ill be able to share my pics with all here.

Hey Folks its November first and the ladies have been in 12/12 for 3 weeks and 3 days. Gotta say I like what I see for the most part, got a lot of crystal production already and the bud structure is shaping up nicely. Do have a few problems though the gnats are back as bad as ever :S little fuckers just wont die and by now ive likely created a race of mutant super bugs due to survival of the fittest. Im not happy with these conesour nute line ive been using, its twice as much as the stuff I usually buy and im having issues with one plant showing phosphorous deficancy fairly badly while another one of my plants got burned heavily, 3/5 plants seem to react well to it and they are the largest ones but I just don't see it being worth the extra money over the sensi bloom stuff I used before and had no issues with. The plant on the end is the one that got burned, it was the smallest though and I used the same strength mix for all of them. Ive cut loose all the stings from the minor lst training I started just before 12/12. enjoy

thought id post a quick update, plants are doing good lots of crystal production all over, I trimmed off a few of the very bottom tiny bud sites on all the plants. Gnats are completely gone now I haven't seen any a few days anyways, the combination of sticky traps and diatomaseous earth seems to have done the trick

Does the room look purple in person, or is that just a camera thing, like the HPS lights do?
