600w of Chinese LED power

Well folks today is the last official day of veg, tomorrow night I start reducing the light by 1 hour a day until im on 12/12. I thought i'd take the time today to show you how their doing and how the supercropping has effected my branches. As you can see I have grown very bushy short plants and when you peal back the canopy you find a dense nobby looking branch structure. These branches are now very woody and thick for the size of the plant, barely move when lightly shook and will continue growing larger as the plant ages. Having this dense support structure will allow better flow of nutrients to the future bud sits as well as the strength to hold big fat colas The plants currently are between 6-8 inches tall, im hoping the final height of the plant will be about 16-20 inches. In flower I anticipate each plant will have at least 6 main large colas and tons of smaller bud sites. Some pruning of the under canopy will be required eventually I am sure.

Wow. Those are some stacked little bushes. Very nice. I heard LED tighten up the node spacing. I for sure believe it now.

need to go south on this forum guys but need some help here i have few plants here from seed now i veged for 2 weeks and set onto flower now its been 2 weeks with still no sigh of sex any ideas ???

they probably just aren't sexualy mature with the short veg time, or your getting light leaks which are preventing them from flowering. Make sure your grow room is light proof for the dark cycle and be patient

Wow man looking really good. I must say I am more and more impressed by LED. I have some pretty large buds on the plants under the LED I am using. If they cost a little less I would fully convert to LED. Cant wait to see how your plants flower out uder those LEDs.

I have been watching this for a few days and am very curious. I have never seen anyone bush their plants up so great! My biggest question to you is if there is a way for the plant to support its own weight.

Im just hoping to find a way to keep the girls lifted, itll be hard to put netting in the room cus of the weird walls.

Thanks, everyone loves a big bush right? If you look at the branches where its been super cropped you can see they are a lot thicker now then if they hadn't een super cropped. They will continue getting thicker as the plant gets bigger and these thick branches and stems will allow the plant to carry a lot of weight. A plant will grow its buds only as big as it feels it can hold up, so with this strong support structure I will be able to grow huge buds without the plant falling over. Although I have been thinking of ways to add more support to the branches late in flower, possibly propping them up with sticks or wires, maybe a tomato cage, if I did this then it would be able to hold more weight leading to even bigger buds

Quick update today, gave them a watering and some foliar feeding, fungus gnats are back in force and more of them then ever. Im going to buy a bag of play sand or garden sand or something on pay day so I can cover the pots with a layer of it. Plants are doing really well tallest cola is just shy of 10". Didn't feel like hauling them all out for a pic so LED pic is going to have to do for now, enjoy!

Looking very nice and bushy If you force the flash to 'on' on your camera would the pics be better?
Would save you from hauling them all out to take pics

ive tried many settings with flash on and off different exposure settings etc etc. I had one setup that took awesome pictures even with the LED but I cant seem to get the camera set that way again no matter what buttons I mash lol. I took 10 shots with different settings before I settled on this one

I use bamboo stakes to support buds. I just strap them on the pots.
Put something on the end of the stake so you don't poke your eye out.

Yep, glad I found this thread. I have a 600w led on the road, and have ordered my autoflower seeds. Shooting to get the seed in the dirt by next weekend. I am going to order 5 gal. Root pouch fabric pots. I was going to get the 3 gal. but didn't want to err by getting them to small. the 5 gals are 11" deep and 10.25 wide. the 3 gals are 8.5 deep and 10" wide. Any thoughts on appropriate size for autoflowers.

depends on how big your grow space is and how many plants you want to have. 3 gallon is big enough for an auto, 5 gallon might get u a bigger plant but takes up more space. whatever u choose make sure you don't transplant, autos do not like to be transplanted so its best to start them in their final container
