Lol seeing as they're pretty much indica they're gonna have thick buds and you'll easily get more than 3 per plant, look at the size of those things!

Your plants are looking amazing!
Awesome job you're doing there Man for a single 600w.
I will definitely subscribe to your journal!
Congrats.

Thats what im hoping for but I always assume Ill get less than I want, that way im never let down on the final weight haha. Im glad you think ill be getting more than 3 per plant though definitely makes me think getting a LB off this grow could be possible! Also, in about two weeks (once my SOG finishes) ill be moving the other 600w HPS light upstairs with the big girls. 1200w on four plants should make them nice and happy, especially with the both the HPS and the MH!

This is week 5 of flowering and the girls are still filling in awesome! There are definitely going to be some prize nugs coming out of the next harvest! The hairs have started to turn orange and even better they are turning bright vibrant orange which will look nice once they finish up! The smell is also starting to take on the distinctive characteristics of a fruity indica, definitely going to be a delicious smoke! Heres some pics of the girls downstairs, ill have some pictures of the beasts later this week!

Wow surfer, can't believe how much they've blown up this past week. Already got a lovely coating of trichs as well. Wish I could use my smellovision to get a scent! As always, great job mate.

Thanks a lot man, glad to see you following my threads! Its always surprising during the last few weeks when they put on tons of weight, I cant wait to see them in a week. It does smell awesome though, definitely a blue/purple strain very fruity and skunky.

Big update today! The leaves and a few buds finally started to turn purple/blue and I have to say its definitely exciting to know that the strain is going to purple for me. I know it doesnt affect the flavor, smoke or high but I love when buds are deep blue or purple. Heres a few pics of some choice colas!

If youre going to do eight you should definitely consider putting them in three gallon pots, you'll have much healthier and much bigger plants. You also wont have to water them every night which is an issue I have with mine in one gallon pots, they get bone dry every night. Did you get my response to your message?

Sorry there havent been any updates, ive been in colorado snowboarding this weekend. I came back to the girls being nearly finished though and things are looking incredible. The buds have really filled out and have developed insane levels of trichs all over them. I actually pulled a small nug off about a week ago and smoked it last night to test the potency and I was blown away by the high I got off a nug pulled so early. The bud was only .08 of a gram but it got me higher than ive been in a loong while. The body high was unlike anything ive ever experienced, my entire body was literally pulsating. Ive got some pictures but I left my uploading cable in CO so im waiting for my friends to upload them.

That's cool man, im jelous you got to go boarding in colorado. I would love to go there.

In the UK thread the guys were talking about premature buds always seem to get you really, really high! but none of us know too much about the development of the THC to shed any light but we all said the same, early buds get you blitzed!

CO was definitely a good time, youll have to make it out there sometime!

You know, Ive definitely heard that premature buds get you crazy high and I also never had a good idea of why but my roomate and grow partner actually came up with an interesting theory. He reasoned that because trichomes that have turned amber typically give you more of a body high, because the trichs on premature buds have not developed to this point the high is almost entirely cerebral. Instead of the high being divided between body and mind, youre only getting that super trippy and apparent cerebral effect. I thought it was actually kind of clever as it seems to make pretty good sense. Thoughts?

surfer its funny you came to this question, I recently read a thread in Harvesting and Curing called "Milky or Amber?" were this dude Brick Top made a statement claiming that 420 magazine just released research that says harvesting earlier may actually be better than the 50/50 milky/amber trichs theory that has been floating around basically saying that the high may be more based on the strain and that pushing your trichs to 50% amber is just increasing the amount of "CBN" in your product and giving you a "fake body high" it kind of blew my mind but it made sense

Not the right one strain, becouse of the yield, and buds are kind a small.
I havent read everything but take a look at your nutrients and air circulation, which was provided, becouse by everything putted together electricity bills, and equipment cost its not going much to your pocket.

Yeh that would make sense but the THC is supposably at peak potency when they turn cloudy but when I've smoked them when they're all clear it sends me loopy, almost feels stronger. Maybe it's not actually stronger but just so "trippy" that it feels stronger?

Looking forward to the next set of pics surfer.

@ dapio, I saw that as well. It is obviously really strain dependant, you're not going to harvest a hazey sativa plant at 50% amber, unless you want a balanced high but if that's the case then surely you would go for a hybrid strain? I'm at a point now where I have real trouble sleeping, averaging like 4.5 hours a night and unfortunately my lemon haze just doesn't help do the trick so I'm throwing some heavy indicas in the mix for the next one. Much like this beautiful garden right here ;)
