Sounds like mites brother...

Look under the leaves that look” speckled”..
What to look for...
Tiny white or black dots, usually hiding in the seem or crease.

I think the white dots are eggs and the blacks...well, this are mites, watch carefully and you should be able to tell if they are moving.

Plan...act very quickly..

I'm a rookie myself, and currently also@ in the middle of week six.

So my advice is rudimentary at best, please clone in if I'm giving bad advice.

*SMC can be found at grow shops, basically coriander oil.(organic)
*Hot Shot, No pest strips.

Some I'm not familiar with, but have read some success stories.
Zero Tolerance
Azamax
Pyrethrum Bombs.

Again, please act quickly as these bitch-ass mother fucking assholes SUCK.

ALSO..unfortunately...if you are a long time smoker.

You have already smoked MANY many mites...they are all over grows, particularly outdoor..

Um... You got any webbing on your buds?..
Use a vacuum with a small little attachment and vac away the webs.

Damn..sorry brother..good luck.

are you growing hydro, soil, coco, using synthetics???

my seasoned advice. if yes to any of the above and you have 2 wks left before your harvest then DO NOT SPRAY! DO NOT BOMB!!!
go to hardware store an get a small shop vac, I've got a 5pkhp 4 gal size, call it my mighty vac ;)

If you run a "med" garden then using any systemics past wk4 flower, organic or not are a big NOPE... don't do it!
The problem with the mite covered outdoor shed dried/barn/cabin any non flowers is it never got shopvac'd, seriously...

If your feed is dialed in and you manage the webbing the worst that happens is you get a few tattered leaves, but it does suck up any dried dead leaf at the same time!
I've seen 200 light grows get fogged out with some nasty systemic DAYS before harvest and that is POISON!
I'm not even running co2 just 2gal coco and my feed and flush.
I will never personally spray bud past day10-15bloom. I only fog as a means of cleaning a space.
That was before I learned about cleansing with OZONE.
Ozone is the real deal air purifier and is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to humans and dogs cats birds pretty much any oxygen breathing being within the space. generally if I run it it is on a timestat for 5-15 sec once a day... SHIT IS STRONG so I will run it with a hood open if I decide I need to sterilized a space more than 1x day...

Good luck it may affect your yields but if you stay on your "tenting" and you're an ace of a grower you can finish strong and start over MITE FREE.
It all comes with the territory buddy GOOD LUCKbongsmilie

Brother Garlic! :)
How are ya buddy?!..

Hey OP!!

Garlic is absolutely the best guy to take advice from, the man that posted below me.

He knows the grow just as much as one can attain in their minds..
Listen to him and you will be successful.

@Garlic..my man.
So even the SMC is considered a no-no?...I thought it was simply coriander oil.

And I hope the op would not spray any buds and just spray infected leaves and vac away any pests on the buds themselves.

God damn, I got this doesn't happen to my grow..

Being I'm in a garage...

I think it's inevitable to be completely honest, just be super diligent.

I hate bugs damn it...
Wtf do these little terrorists exist?

Yet another beef I've got with the man up-stairs....lol...including the disease he has” blessed me with”..

Hashhaha!
Great talking with ya GT!.

P.S. Don't take advice from peeps at grow stores, because all that I mentioned above in my post was given to me by a guy that works at a grow store, betting this guy was just attempting” up-sell” me.

He said the p-bombs were safe to use the day of harvest!!
Outrageous.

Possibly Thrips?

Damage caused by Thrips:

If so, you can use some Blue sticky traps to cut down on the numbers, but as the people below me said: Bombs and sprays in flower is generally no bueno.

GT what are your thoughts about diatomaceous earth? Can this be used safely on the plants? I have heard of people putting on the plants themselves. I used some this last go around in flower as a light top dressing, which was a mistake as the soil got super hard. I have just been using around drip trays etc when we see signs of life. Have seen much if anything.

Oh gawd.. @Mid, them pics gave me the chills..

Mid!! My bro!
Hope you got my message yesterday..
Still fucking sick bro...damn.

Anywho...bugs suck.

Good luck OP!!
Use a combo of Mid's and GT's methods..two of the more brilliant cannabis producers in the nation.(seriously)

And really go after them with the vacuum..be adamant, diligent sand think laterally, like the pest.
I'm paranoid as shit now...

Why God?!..why these guys gotta like cannabis?..
Hehe

Again..you have most likely smoked many, possibly thousands of mites of you have been a smoker for long.
Along with their feces, fun fact right?

Btw..

Should I call this dude out at the grow shop?

This mofo almost sold me on the p-bomb, as I told him I'd be in am inside garage, inside a tent.
His exact words (paraphrased of course)..
” If you are in that garage bra, you are sure to encounter spider mites, especially if using Roots organic (wtf?)..(what does that mean)..
I recommend you use the SMC as preventive, and near harvest drop this p-bomb..no pest guarantee”

Dude, I'm red in the face..maybe chill a bit then call this fucker...haha

Just buy some lady bugs at a nursery and let them run rampant. It should diminish the pest problem enough to get you through those last few weeks...

first thing. don't panic ! I had those as well. and if I lost the crop I would be out 3k in electric ! so your ok . you could use fish oil. mighty wash. neem oil. if there small can give them a quick bath soapy water. one thing I need to tell you. after they are all gone they WILL be back guaranteed. so you will need to spray as a preventive 1 or 2 times a week until you harvest. look for mold is vital . keep the humidity low 35 % fans run them 24 hours a day. is vital. no fans you WILL lose the crop. so hit the hydro store if possible. or any garden center get some kind of oil. organic. you can spray it on late flower and smoke it. no problems

Hey Sirdabs it's cool man. Don't sweat it too hard just know that any hydro store is pushing product, most of the time without real industry knowledge.
There is so much misinformation regarding spraying/ bombing in bloom. I have been there in my career as a grower using things I thought I knew what I was doing. It turns out for years I unknowingly was consuming the bombs and sprays as were my patients. Any systemic fungicide/miticide/ovicide has a certain length of time before it is in low enough dose to not negatively effect you. I have tons of experience spraying flowers late in bloom and my best advice is DON'T DO IT!
Even with mighty wash you will negatively effect the buds flavor, look, and that's if you don't mold out your garden by spraying it down so late in the game.

Lady bugs are great but fly into lights and fizzle up indoors. Also they won't decimate the mites if you're seeing webbing. Really the best thing you can do is vac those webs right off the buds. an keep pushing forward. If you decide to harvest early you will sacrifice flavor, quality, potency, and yield.

Most MMJ folks don't realize this but the mass produced commercial MMJ dispensary weed has upwards of 90% residual of systemic chemicals of Eage-20, Avid (abamectin), IMID etc.

I use neem seed meal in my outdoor soil mix to keep bugs down and away. DE is great stuff too sprinkled on the soil surface and watered in. Even using the DE dusters during veg is a great method. I wouldn't go sprinkling it on my flowers though. Even DE is no match for an already infested grow.

Like everyone is saying, don't panic, do the right thing.
Homebrew420's threads have had me captivated I would suggest reading up on HB's posts. So much excellent info on nutrients and KISS growing!!!

After all this bug talk, I've made the executive decision to be even more adamant about cleanliness..
Shop vac every 12 hours, the tent itself..
Picked up this attachment just in case....

This attached to the shop vac would eradicate any visible mites in a flash..
Hopefully I will never have to use it, but it would be the best solution so close to harvest.

My tent is immaculate now, and its going to stay that way...

Bugs beware!!..fuckin assholes...

If you ever get web tenting that shopvac will be your best friend! Cleans it so you can't even tell! Funny how few dispensaries do this they'd rather SPRAY! Just go ahead and take a pocket scope next time you check out dispensary meds. I would rather smoke mite and mite shit then the chemicals they've sprayed and STILL didn't vac those nugs!

Dude, seriously..I love GT!!

I've been preaching this for a while now..
After visiting your” favorite” dispensary..bust out your scope and look closely..

Webs, bugs, bug poop...

Like..wtf?..

GT?... They don't even vac?...dude, takes just a moment..omg!!

I'm with you buddy, I'd rather smoke that than chemicals too..
Shit we ALL sleep on millions of dust mites every single night.

(unless your bed is brand new...).. Seriously, if you don't know this...read up on dust mites.

Also, seriously...just but a nice shop vac, keep the tent/room free of dirt, dead leaves, dust, run it at lights on and lights off..
Diligence..act as if this is your livelihood..
(for some it is)

Cleanliness is Godliness....
