I am looking into purchasing several 6" square x 7" tall 1 gallon volume, pots for my plants to use for a SoG grow in a 3'X2' Tent under a 400 Watt Light, and was wondering if I could flower in these pots or not. Anyone have any idea if they would be big enough to support my plants throughout their life cycle.

10 in a 2x3 is going to be pretty packed. I'd star flowering at ~6" and they should stop between 24-48 depending on strain. This is copy pasted so forgive the unecessary. It should however show you how much plants stretch during grow. Those were in 1g pots in a 2x3 area.
I was pulling an oz a week with 388w of CFL here - First CFL Grow - Help appreciated
I would recommend a 3:1 of 6500K:2700K for veg and the opposite for flower.
Keep them small! CFLs don't do nearly as well with large plants unless you keep a clean scrog or LST. I started flowering at this size -
Dropping bulb between plants maximizes plant absorption without the loss of restrike like you would have with a reflector. I tried to cover the canopy in smaller bulbs and submerge larger bulbs between plants.
I would yield ~ 1oz per plant. With 6 in full flower at a time and two others just rotating into the flower box I was able to harvest a plant per week.
This took place in a 2x3x3.5' area of a small closet.

I have a 400 Watt MH/HPS Switchable Ballast, and will be growing inside of a 3X2x6' Grow tent. I will be purchasing two or three different strains from Nirvana, unless I can find the master Kush and Black Berry Seeds I already have. I might purchase some even if I do find the seeds, just to have a bunch of variety. I've had several unsuccessful grows, but found motivation to do it the right way after a bag seed plant of mine started growing, and hasn't died yet. It's been about three weeks, and it's doing good.
