If someone were to have a closet grow: with perfect ventilation, growing 6 clones in soil, flowered at 6-8" tall....how much yield could be expected? 1/2 lb dry?
Mostly Purple Kush, one sativa...

All depends 12/12 from clone or seed like a sea of green might get about a 1/4oz per plant all depends.

It depends a lot on your genetics and your skill as a grower and how tall they are when you put them in flower, if you train etc... essentially it's just far to speculative to answer. You could do what I did this summer, get thrips, and lose an entire tree harvest. But usually you get something in the .5 to .8 gram/watt range. I hope that helped.

i usually have 6-8 plants in soil with a 600 watt hps, i pull a LB no problem, i usually shoot for more like 20 ounces...if this is your first rodeo expect 10-13 ozs...if you know what your doing expect a LB...once you dial it in 20oz isnt a problem, good luck.

There are way to many factors to really say. Depends on if you are going to train them or what you plan on feeding them all kinds of shit can go wrong when you least expect it.

Unless you are growing for commercial and trying to make money off it just be happy with what you get and enjoy the hobby and keep getting better at it. Just enjoy the plant and it's true meaning. It really is a medical plant.

everyone asks this question and gets the same answer. I didn't read the answers above but im sure there something like this: the yeild varies by a lot of different factors but if all conditions are perfect, expect a gram per watt which is a little over 21 ounces. But the fact that your asking this question means your most likely not experienced enough to get 1g/watt.

But its very possible to get half a pound on even your first grow with a 600 watt. Thats a reasonable expectation.

Veg to 16-20" and a hp is easy to get but only vegging 6-8" like you said I doubt you will get a hp off of 6 plants.

Wow, you guys are generous! Pulling a pound from a single 600w isn't easy. Especially if your environment and techniques aren't dialed and especially if this is a first grow.

Dont' want to rain on your parade but it you pull .5g/watt this first go you should count that as a win! Very few people are pulling a pound with a single 600w in a closet. I'm not saying it can't be done, but very unlikey unless you are using some type of training technique(maybe scrog/vertical) and everything is dialed in=your environment, your nutrients, etc.

.5g/watt is 300. 300/28 is slightly over 10 oz. That's more then an half pound coming from your closet! Not to shaby.

If this is your first go then you should be happy if you even reach harvest! And if you do, thank the gods! If you search these forums you will find it takes a lot of people multiple tries, mistakes, and disasters before they finally get their first harvest.

To be a succesful grower I believe you need 2 qualities. Patience and the ability to learn from your mistakes. I would suggest not counting your eggs before they hatch. Have fun, watch your babies grow, and enjoy the process.

If you veg to 20" be prepared for 60" trees in buckets. So if you take the height of your container, let's say 12" and add 60" that's 72". That's 6 feet! Way to big, IMHO.
Strain has a lot to do with how they grow, but vegging till 20" seams like overkill in a closet.

What are the dimensions of your closet?
