56 days in flower, these buds close at all? Ugh

What a "flushing" myth pile!

If your LOOKING for a taste difference in a side by side taste test.....Your MIND WILL find one! Even if it's the exact same thing !
Scientific FACT!

Nutrients will NOT "drip into the bud from the stem"...Scientific FACT!
Your last statement is pure horse shit myth!

What said just put a target on your back around here - LOL
Yeah except everything you said was wrong. 2 other people and myself didn't know which bud was in what blunt but all 3 of us picked the one that hadnt been flushed somehow and as for oil don't even get me started. I had 3.5 ounces of flushed oil and 2 ounces of non flushed oil. Between the 60 people that get dabs from me I ended up with 26 grams left of the non-flushed oil and was out of the flushed oil. I didn't tell anybody what was what they all just magically preferred the flushed kind? Lol thatd be pretty ignorant to think. I'm not saying you need to use a cleanrez or any flushing ingredient but there's a reason the concept is around.l there's a reason any commercial tomato or vegetable farm flushes their plants.

And LOL have you grown a plant before? I'd you don't think water or nutrients come back out of the resevoir in the stem during drying why do they recommend drying with the stem still in the first week? Also take one plant leave it on the stem and cut all the buds off another plant. You tell me which one dries better. I see you people typing a bunch of shit but I don't see any of you putting any foundation under your opinions. I harvest thousands of pounds a year I've tried almost everything on a variable room scale if you haven't then sit down and take notes.

Lol i giggled at 16 week flowering time! Then nutes stay in the stem AHHHHH!
You know how to read? Never once did I say a 16 week flowering time. I said growing them for 3 to 4 months which includes veg because the guy said his plants were on his 14th week at the time it was posted. That's 3.5 months for you since numbers seem to give you trouble.

Ouch, thats actually my fault mybad. However cannabis doesn't store nutrients in its flowers, nor does it make new trichomes after it has been cut lmao, nor does it benefit from a flush. It's you thats ignorant thinking a plant needs a flush to come out better when its actually caused by bad feeding habbits and a bad cure. Thats actually the truth so take it any way you want, it still wont change right and wrong.

Never said it made the bud better in strength or yield. It will make a difference in taste. The crystals will remoisturize from the water coming out of the bud, it pulls the sticky oils out almost reglazing the crystals. Not sure what humidity you dry your plants at

Reminds me of the 70's when we would pull whole plants and wrap the root balls in towels and soak them with sugar water and hang upside down in the dark. We all though that the sugar water would drain into the thrichromes and make it more potent.
And I don't think you're going to hydrate a waxy membrane with water.

Anyway, No need for flushing unless you've fucked something up by over doing nute's

OH BOY! another live one!

It's YOU that's wrong ! Lets do this one at a time.....

Yeah, here we go! Dabbers can tell the minute details of taste difference while dabbing! Maybe the over all quality OF the 2 plants were different.....Sure as HELL they were NOT exactly the same, no matter what you did in the grow and flushing DOES NOT REMOVE ANY CHEMICALS FROM THE PLANT! SCIENTIFIC FACT!!

NO THEY DON'T,,,EVER!!!
I'm a farmer! I run a 3+1 organic farm co-op! I grew up on farms and they were not organic! NOTHING is EVER "flushed" before harvest on ANY FARM! (That includes the massive hydroponic tomato farms of Holland!)

43 years of growing sonny child!

Say what? Plants do not have a nutrient "reservoir" (proper spelling) in the roots, much less anywhere else in or on it!

I gave you actual research by a HIGHLY respected grower/breeder from ON this site......Here's the link again
READ IT! There aren't THAT MANY big words. So it should be easy for you to understand!

And I'm the fucking POPE!
If you even APPROACHED what you claim....you would have said NONE of what you did!

I call BULL SHIT on you!

@RM3
You gotta peep this one riddle!

Just took these. Each from a different plant. I think they are representative.

I have an idea what to look for when they are ready, I'm just asking for guesstimates on how long till that happens.
What macro lens did you use dude

When you hang your plant to dry the leftover nutrients will drip into the bud from the stem. If it's all water then water will push through the bud while drying bringing more crystals to the surface of your buds
sorry bro. I must have read something wrong i guess

If you are smoking weed in blunts answers me this. Why would you give a fuck if we're flushed or not.? Just an honest" question?

This is from a week ago before it started to really thicken and swell. I'm happy. My goal was to do better than finshaggy. I like my goal posts to be attainable. I'm sure in a few years I'll be embarrassed for being so excited, but for now I'll enjoy the ride.

received_10207716192135113.jpeg Some asked about the lens I used. It's an $8 buy on amazon. 60x efanr clip on microscope. If you get bored you can take pictures of your gf's butthole up close. Screenshot_2016-04-08-18-03-41.png

I definitely enjoyed the drama. And I'd already read the link Dr who posted about flushing. It makes sense. It's also why I'm still very lightly feeding with 2 to 3 weeks to go. I don't want to limit trich or bud production because one essential mineral is deficient.

Next grow I'm going to try and add a couple uvb florescent tubes. Wish I had the room for a 4x8 tent. I'd go hog wild with new lighting, improving the venting, and filtering, etc etc. Growing is so much fun. I don't even smoke. I just love watching them grow.

niiiice!! you gave me hope with my 400w light... hhahaha
Nice another small grower.
Have you had any grows under your 400w? What's your dried yield been? Goal for my first grow is anything over .5 gm/watt or about 6 Oz dried. I'm going to need almost 2lbs of fresh cut bud to do that I'm estimating. Based on what I've read and this the test bud I dried.
I'm new to cannabis culture/horticulture so I have no idea what 2 lbs of bud looks like. Anyone have a pic with around that amount?

first grow for me, too. 3 weeks into flower
that's why, seeing your buds you gave me hope. if mine turn out the same size, i'm good
i also have 4 feminized northern lights and exactly the same goal. if i get 6oz dried from this crop i can call it a successful first grow.
so far, things are going nice and smooth

That's what mine looked like about 3 weeks after the flip. I thought they'd never bulk up. 20160309_132616.jpg

You guys arent giving yourselves enough credit. And be careful not be so impatient. The impatience will detour you from the solid studies and of observation of the particular plant types that you grow. Those plants look great. But keep that patient eye. Good Growin.

I like that Dr Who. I work with lots of MD's. I think I'd rather hang with Who.

I'm going to have to put supports in for the plants. They are just starting to topple over from being top heavy. It's kind of sexy.
