4x4x6.5 Noob-Grow: Are those strains growing well together?

Hi rollitup-forum,

i am sorry but my english is pretty basic. I hope u guys undertsand what i am talking about. If not pls let me know!
I am a scrub if it comes to growing (and forums in general too) and i thought rollitup.org would be the perfect forum to become a part of.
Since i am a scrub i do not want to go with 9 plants or even more. I know ppl most likely recommend 9 plants in a 4x4x6.5 (to be correct ...120x120x200cm) but i wanna keep it simple and learn from my first grow. that is why i was thinking about 4 to 5 plants (5 is what i am hoping for). If u have any suggestion on that pls let me know!
The problem is that i am limitetd to 6.5 (200cm) in hight and i wanna use a LED that should be atleast 18inch away from the canopy (i guess a little bit more won´t be bad either because i read a lot about bud bleaching/burn). I was also thinking of a "grow-deck" (11-13 inch in hight) for easier watering/feeding and most likely for easier flushing.
I was thinking about 3 strains but i am not sure if those are going to grow well together specialy in hight. The strains i am talking about are the following (all fem. seeds):
- Power Plant by Dutch Passion
- Ak 47 by Serious Seeds
- Lemon Haze by Royal Queen Seeds
(I know that a lot of "NA" guys complain about eu seed companys but i have some pretty good feedback on those, execpt the Lemon Haze by Royal Queen Seeds. I wanna give it a try because of its low flowering time compared to other strains like that).
I was thinking about 2x AK47 and 2x Power Plant in the corners and the Lemon Haze in the middle of my tent. BTW what pot size would u guys recommend and why? I was thinking about fabric pots by gronest. Maybe 5 gal? (~19l)
I thought i am not going to scrog because i wanna keep it simple and just learn how my plants grow naturaly (same goes for LST and super cropping). I am thinking about topping them once. Pls let me know if u guys think that is fine or not.
If u guys need any links pls let me know! i was not sure if it is ok to link products on rollitup if those aren´t proofen to be good or beeing sponsors, etc.

It would be very kind too if u let me know whatever i have done bad/wrong, etc. I am not here just to ask a couple of noob questions ... i rather stay tuned for a long time!

Your English looks fine to Me. Sounds like your on the right path. There is no way to tell you what is best for your situation, just go by your instincts, and how they are growing, find out what plants grow best under your lights, you may have to move them around but you will see what grows best under your lights.
I Use 5 gallon pots but you may want bigger 7 gallon but 5s work well for me.
Good luck on you grow, I would like to add your well on your way, with some trial and error you will find what is best in your situation.

thx Bear! i know i have to figure out a lot by myself and that is exactly what i am trying to do. BUT :/ i am a little bit scared because the hight of the grow space is limited. I do not wanna buy the grow-deck for no reason at what hight would u turn those strains to 12/12 based on those numbers?

I would consider starting with fewer plants for your first grow in a 4x4. Four plants can fill that space up quickly.

Here's 4 AK48 plants in a 5x5 tent after 5 weeks of veg and 2 weeks of flower. 5 gallon containers. These were topped to keep them short. The tents really do fill up fast with few plants.

Due to your height restrictions, look up Uncle Bens Topping Technique in the Advanced Growing Section. This will really really help you to keep your canopy low.

And lastly, I recommend you check out www.growweedeasy.com for more plant training topics (LST and Supercropping) to help keep your plants manageable. There are several tutorials on the site.

Those AKs looking pretty nice to me! well done sir If u say 5 weeks of veg are we talking about seeds or clones?
I have "www.growweedeasy.com" on my list allready I also bought "Marijuana Grower´s Handbook" by Ed Rosenthal. Not sure but i guess it aint a bad book if it comes to growing.
I am going to checkout the thread u recommended but do u rly think it is such a great idea for first time growers? i dont wanna kill my plants by super cropping while running such low numbers I guess i am a little bit too scared aren´t i?!

It's normal to be a little nervous at first. The Uncle Bens Topping is quite simple....or use the topping technique from Grow Weed Easy. Either way, it will help you keep your plants shorter. I'd start there. Some of these LEDs require a considerable distance from the plants, so you don't have much vertical growing space to play with. My first grows were in a 6.5 foot tall tent where I constantly ran into height issues...I wish I had become familiar with topping earlier!

Don't sweat the super cropping....consider that your last ditch effort if your plant starts growing taller than your tent can handle. I didn't have to do any major supercropping on this grow as the topping kept my plants short.

I just checked his guide and it seems to be pretty legit thx buddy ... sadly those pictures can´t be watched anymore :/
What i dont get is for how long i have to veg those plants after topping them. 2 weeks is what i have on my mind. Is that ok or too short? i dont want bonzai colas

Yeah, it's too bad Uncle Bens photos don't show up any more. It's a great guide even without them.

I vegged these four plants for 5 weeks until they were 15 inches tall. It took 22 days from the day I topped until the day that I flipped to 12/12. I had topped above the third node. They are now 27 inches tall and finishing their flower stretch and just starting to form buds. You can see how much these fill up a 5x5....they will definitely fill the 4 x4 and they should grow out some nice colas over the next few weeks.

I recommend sticking to your indica strains. The Power Plant is a Sativa and those typically grow taller. Then assume the plant will at least double in size after you flip to 12/12. So set up your LED and figure out how much Grow space you have available. You can then figure on flipping when the plants hit half that height.

If you decide to grow a Sativa, just be aware that she could triple in size.

Well the original AK47 by Serious Seeds is a Sativa doinant hybrid, same goes for the Lemon Haze and the Power Plant. That is exaclty why i did open this thread :/
Now i am back to beeing confused about those hights and if it will work
