Hey NSW sorry i hijacked your thread but i was worried you were gone to be honest.
Glad to see you back and all fine.
I was concerned people were starting to think? so i intervened:mrgreen:
Ive hardly been here myself either.
I will make a new thread about the basket with details on building it and pics.
Hard drives die all the time, they have a certain amount of spins in them basically for the most part so dont worry about it,hope things are working out for you:peace:bongsmilie

I have decided to just pack plenty of the fimm pics and airbasket pics into a rar folder and upload it to sendspace so that anyone that wants it can get it and ask me any questions about any of it if they like.

I just dont have the free time that i used to enjoy anymore.
Upload will be finished in about 15 minutes and i will make a new thread here in the indoor growing section.
Uploading all of these pics individually and then making a write up will take to long:weed:

The stuff I used from home depot is out in the gardening section and isnt too expensive (about $10 i think).

Yeah that crate could be used as a mini screen you could even go through the sides of it too if you top or FIM the plant whens its small (at about 4 or 5 nodes) and then fim or top the tops that result from the first cut. and then just wind some of the tops through the sides and let others grow up through the top. Itll work but id recommend a little bigger of a screen depending on your lighting. :peace::blsmoke::joint:

Dude you homedepot doesn't have any kinda of chicken wire, I was in tractor supply the other day, looking at 2 x 2 chicken wire, or you can "find" a piece of chain link fence. If you wanted to, you can make a frame out of what ever, and then tie string across it in a grid pattern. There are so many options for a screen. He also wasn't saying to top it down 4-5 nodes, but rather to top it when it only has 4-5 nodes.

Home depot and lowes both stock about a dozen different styles of chicken wire and tomatoe cage wire. out in the garden center or sometimes over by the lumber and fencing inside. Im sorry the home depot by you sucks so much but I swear ive been to a few different ones and they all had it. :peace::blsmoke:

Looks like you topped the plant fine that spot will heal up and it will grow fine. Its impossible to mess up man so dont worry hahaha.

Looks like youve got some bacteria in that res? I tryed a small dwc setup and got root rot 3 different times throughout the first grow...lets just say it was the last, im going back to my organic soiless mix

H202 paper...not sure on the specifics, but I know you mix small amount per gallon and helps the root rot your plant is suffering from is the roots are dark.

thats what i was using..do you think if i put h2o2 in a sprayer and sprayed the top part of the roots that actually dont make it in the water will this work?..cause that the only place where roots are darker in color

I'm no expert on hydro, soil man myself but definately sounds like root rot, wait for the more experienced hydro guys to help ya out before you do anything.
