lol no these are not for the comp. just wanted to show how ill be doing it. if my lights get on 12/12 buy end of feb if not i cant do it.

He said 7th day veg, 20/4 and those are obviously not the cups required for the contest. I think by putting a little common sense in there you could figure out the answer to your question.

Yeah im used to growing outdoors and now im goona try a solo cup with air injection lmao. and im gonna fim it and see if air injection can do better than the rest. i will have to use or make a box if my lights isnt ready to be 12/12 but we all will be singing red solo cup fill me up.

This needs to be re-iterated, as I believe some people are forgetting this important part! That and the 16oz Party (SOLO) style cups. These are simple rules folks.

A quick look at some of the rules.......
1-16oz solo cups only.If all you can get are 18oz just don't fill it up all the way.....Remember we all know what a 16oz cups look like.The line on a cup are measurement lines.


2-Any light source can be used,as long as it's the only LIGHT source and is 12 hours on and 12 hours off....not 13/11....12.5/11.5......12/12 ONLY!


3-You can germinate up to 5 regular seeds or 3 fem seeds.When they start to flower you pick the best ONE to continue with the competition

4-You must update with pics every week,if you can't make a pic update talk with jimjim or other competitors and maybe we can work something out.

That's about the jist of the comp rules

OK to use the Pilsner glass pictured above? Filled to the brim it holds precisely 16oz.
I think I remember reading much earlier where you said, jimjim, that any vessel holding only 16oz complied with the rules.
I like this shape, and I detest plastic. And it's easier to weight the bottom than a solo cup so it won't tip over.
I'll wrap the roots in foil except to take pics for the weekly update. What say you?

its party cup only. You would not want to use that glass. For one the roots will be visible to light which will kill the roots. 2 no drainage. You will end up with root rot. You can poke holes in the bottom of a party cup for drainage.

Lmao pilsner glass you are way to funny. hey how aobut i get youa solo cup you share a beer in that glass with me. I hope you all have me on the lsit for this i will have 12/12 running im sure 3 weeks i can start maybe 4 but will have a seedling 1 inch tall in a cup before February is over. I jsut have to find the solo cup. and the c99 omg 2 days its 1 inch tall from seed so lets do this i need to see how i compare to the ones who really know what they are doing. Yeah i got a sweet buzz going . I want to see how and what all are doing. this will show us all where we stand. i really dont expect to place in top 3 but if i can get in top 10 wow that would rock. we have till end of Feb to have our seed germinated in solo cup. ill be on 12/12 by then so ill be late at starting but will be in it.

Your in Nizza, I'll will have the final list in a day or so, before Feb 1st I'll have it up.

Alright count me in. I was debating getting in, but with the great prizes and good competition(I'm competitive), I might as well register. Worst case I don't sprout in time and I'm out early. But it's at least worth the registration.
