Can we put an asterisk next to him? He clearly deserves one considering the foreign meddling that resulted in his abortion of a presidency. I am thinking that not putting an asterisk next to his number is diminishing the accomplishment of those who gained the Presidency without the assistance of America's foreign enemies.

Like I said, man, I knew it'd be a spectacular disaster, but I had NO idea that it'd unfold with such SPEED and ferocity!
I was planning on 4-8 months, but that's no longer feasible.

Every day (hour?) brings a new cringeworthy comment/tweet/'executive order' (LOL)!

And people doubted the logical, tsk tsk tsk....non-native NYers that just don't know him...

It will just amaze me if Flynn doesn't have to leave at the very least. Ideally, an independent investigation would be launched. But I doubt that will happen unless it gets forced down Sessions' throat.

But there is still some teflon clinging to 45*. His supporters knew he was a crook and, consequently, don't hold him up to the standards of a person competent for the office of POTUS. Or maybe their standards are lower or they lack the intellectual capacity of any message longer than 140 characters. Not really sure, but there are things Donald is getting a pass on that would have become the headlines of the Hillary is Crooked crowd. He may coast right through this too.

Speaking from personal hunch only, I feel certain that Donald was already guilty of impeachable offenses long before he was elected. It is just a matter of time before they are discovered. And then the Constitutional Crisis will really begin.

Incidentally, when he finally (a matter of weeks) DOES snap, he's going out in an explosive blaze - I'm talking about swearing at senators, threatening congressmen, etc.etc....I wouldn't be surprised if they've got to restrain/cart him out. It's his standard M.O., that of an insanely conceited sociopath.

I dunno. The only way the Republicans are going to let that happen is if they see a chance to really seize power. It would be tough to claim a mandate after removing 45*. My guess is that no matter how crazy Trump gets, the party will line up behind him. If Betsy DeVos shows us anything, it is that few of the Republicans have a conscience but they all know an opportunity when they see one. Expect most of the party to follow him into hell.

The Republicans used Trump's fame to regain the office of the president but they never intended for him to be a permanent fixture. Pence will be president in under two years. It's the same thing the Democrats did with JFK/LBJ, they knew Johnson couldn't win on his own, so they used Kennedy and rode his coattails into office. Once there, Kennedy was disposed of, and LBJ took his place on the throne.
