Here is my current grow, 42 days into flowering... Much advice appreciated!

Honestly 42 days? Looks way behind imo.. look more like 2nd week of flower to me.. are you running into issues?

Ok i watched it twice and you buds are having issues, that really looks no more than 3 weeks in budding.

are they all the same strain

its due to the light being so far and the PLANT BEING SO FKING TALL.. wont be done in 30 days. Good job for your 1st time, NEXT grow aim for shorter bushy plants.

I like new growers like you ill stick around if you want answers.. Start asking.. let me know INFO, like what water and pot sizes.. nutes?

what kind of nutes are u usin?? when is the last time they were fed?? how often do u water?? did u use that hps through out all growth?? cuz some of those branches look kinda "stretchy"...what are ur temps since u say its been hot in there???
good idea tying them back instead of raisin the light...prolly what idv ended up doin... to test distance just hold ur hand between ur plant and the light and hold it there, if its uncomfortable/warm, move it away.

in a basement too, >.< open 400w.. Prolly toasty down their.. I would like to help but do need more info.

I run a 600W in a sealed basement.

i have the fans blowing right on the light. So it isnt that hot. Well its 42 days since i turned it onto 12/12, it took a while to start flowering, in beginning i only had these shitty blue cfls grow lights 120w bullshits, than i switched to like 10 cfls, than bought a hps, lol, and after 6 weeeks switched it to 12/12 to flowering, i ran a 24 on at first. I been using flowertone, its for like promoting flower growth, but i been puttin like this miracle grow i believe into water and water it, i been flushing it. Not sure why exactly. I let them get that tall because i wanted to produce more and thought i had enough light, i only got 4 females thatactaully came out, i shouldnt of bouhgt regular seeds, ill never do that again, and i have tpo have these done fast, is there any way to speed up flowering, maybe to go on a 10 on 14 off? or something. Also i should of switched in to bigger planters. Alot of problem was i am not here in week, so i have my girl water them who does not give 2 shits about my babies, haha. So it is like half assed. Sometimes light wasnt raised intime, and the top of them were being burned. So id proly have a good 4-5 weeks left of flowering, correct? the heat is a big issue, hot as helll here.

if its hitting 99+ degrees issue.. and what do you mean flush? Taller plant does not mean more bud, look into training. I would say another 5-6 weeks of flowering togo if it makes it. Dont get down about it, everyone messes up 1st but So you know you can be getting 8oz from that light easy

i have 3 shitty fans down there, 1 400 watt hps like and 10 cfls, the cfls arnt really hot and are spaced around, there is a fan blowin on the hps, it's not a light leak? Also i thought the nutrients were good, no really yellow leaves, just alittle droppy, prolly from over or under watering. Also, i shoulda made a better soil mix! Thats prolly an issue too, i mixed a little perlit and miracle grow in some, but not as good as should been...old soil....in beginning i just rushed and wanted to get the process goin, was suppose to change shit, but u know its summer and i went out and wasnt home alot or was lazy, but over all i think theyll come out, i hope so atleast!


***** I have a 4 x 4 foot board up with foil and lights on it, should i take it down so there can be more air circulated in the room? I was jus alittle worried because the water heatre boiler is there, and i didnt think it was good to have the lights close to that, so i blocked it off. It might actually be safer thought, because the room might be less hot? idk

Training is like Tying down plants at a young age, or topping them to prevent them getting taller. Instead they will grow more bushy if done correctly. Google it, look up LST and topping.. get a therm and see exactly how Hot it is down their. What kinda water are you using, TAP? and are you letting your Tap water sit overnight before you use it?

do u have an exhaust fan or just 3 circulating???training is basically tying them or bending them to utilize the most light and maximize in smaller places...

no lol i get it out and water it right away, should i not be adding so many nutrients? i add them alot, probably almost each time i water, the thing is i judge them on the leave color because i dont have a ph tester, but the leaves look pretty goood, why dont you think these will make it? i might tie the shit outta them tomorrow, and lower the light so its on all of them. I will take better pics tomorrow that camera was shitty

and yes they are two different strains. the big one might look unhealthy, but its healtthy, i just tied it down alot so its really bunched together, which is prolly bad to do to...i thought theyd get tall, but not this tall dammmmm there like 8 ft lol

they seem to be nice and green, just budding slow.. hmm. I use TAP, But i fill it in a 42gal res and LET IT SIT 3 days before I use it.. Do not use TAP right from faucet. let it sit 24 hours b4 use. To clear the chlorine out. ok looking forward to more pix.. ima goto sleep soon but keep posting questions cause ill address all them in the AM. good luck man & gj on your 1st grow.

No i only have 3 circulating fans, but in the b-room above the basement, theres like a trap door, and the hot air prolly all rises, thats why my bathroom is always like 100 degrees, haha you can air dry out of the shower. So that prolly helps alittle for the circulation and temp, my light doesnt have a hole in the thing for the vent, i would put a nice duct system in but im moving my grow to a big setup somewhere else, just trying finishin these 4 successfully
