sorry total noob question, whats a can fan?
Can Fan is just a brand of fan. I like their HO series. I think it stands of high output. They are really good quality and move a lot of air without making a ton of sound. From my experience they have a way better noise to cfm ration than Vortex. They quietest fan I've ever used is the Panasonic Whisperline. They move tons of air and are dead quiet but they are kind of bulky and not an option if you have very limited space.

they look super bomb but there gonna taste like a dirty turd with all those chemicals compared to some organics
My base nutes are H&G, not some chemy garb like General Hydro. Roots Excelurator, Hygrozyme, Great White, and Diamond Nectar are for the root zone and don't end up in the buds. Sweet is just carbs. ProTekt is silica and gives the plants stronger cell structure and more resistance to heat stress and under/over watering. Liquid Light is a foliar feed with some minerals and chelated iron in it and it's not used during the last half of flowering even. CalMag is essential and it's contents are in the name. Thrive Alive B-1 is vitamins and kelp from the coast of Canada that contain beneficial micros. I use FF Open Sesame to help early onset of buds after 12/12. Purple Maxx and Gravity are my only flower enhancers. I have used Kool Bloom, Overdrive, Beastie Blooms, Phosphoload, Gravity, Bud Blaster, Purple Maxx, and Super Bud to finish my plants and I've gotten the best results from the HCO line of nutes. The last time I had bad harsh tasting plants was years ago on a seed grow where they hermied at the end and produced tiny premature seeds that killed the smoke. Everything I'm putting into my plants serves a purpose and I how each things affects my plants. I'm not some noob who's just following a grow guide/schedule. I'm using products from 10 different companies because through trial and error I've found that just because some company has the best root stimulator that they might not have the best enzymes, base nutes, etc.

question - when you used kool bloom, did you use the liquid at the beginning of flower and the powder at the end of flower? or did you just do one or the other?

beasties blooms......bud blaaster and purple max, super bud alot of enhancers im just sayin when you read the ingredients and it feels like chemistry class, and if you give your plants to much they will die or burn why use it? and i used to think you could yield way more in hydro but thats a myth, and if your goin for quality why wouldnt you do 100% organic and if you could yield just as much. with all those chemicals i dont think its gonna taste much better then just smoke.

just curious if this is all subjective info you're dishing out or if its what you yourself have actually determined through grow after grow experimenting with those nutes specifically.

I've never used the liquid. That is the order though. Liquid for development and dry for finishing.

I would say both. Everybody has their own preferences. My thoughts on a products effectiveness are reflected on my own results. I have never told anybody on this site or in real life that they NEED to use these products. This is just my grown journal. I'm doing my best to keep updating with what I'm feeding my plants all the way down to the teaspoon or milliliter. It's anybodies choice to take it or leave it.

I don't know the ingredients you're reading but the ones on my labels are pretty straight forward. N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Si, B-1.... I know what the ingredients are and I know how they affect the plant. I'm not using animal shit, ash, and bone meal for my NPK but my plants are still getting it via what I am using.

I'm not an organic grower, plain and simple. I flush my plants thoroughly which is really important. My yields are great, the high is strong, the smell is good, and the smoke is smooth. I don't know what else I should be looking for.

Everything I use in my grow is on Page 1 of this journal. Why don't you go ahead and go down my list and find me an organic replacement for everything that I'm giving them and let me know what you think I should be feeding my plants.

Whether or not I feel your nutrient plan is excessive is irrelevant, I don't recall you asking anyone for feeding info so I shall just enjoy the journal for what I want to get out of it. I always hate when people pipe in with some shit about how you're doing it wrong although you didn't ask for help in the first place. If you don't like his feeding methods then find another journal that you like and shut the fuck up on this one!

awesome. I have the dry stuff but not the liquid and wasnt wanting to spring for it. How did you like/notice its effects?
I haven't used the liquid. I would assume it has similar effects as Overdrive or Bud XL and adds size to the buds. The dry stuff is for hardening. When I have used the dry Kool Bloom it has added a lot of density to the buds. Ease into the dosage with Kool Bloom as it can burn your plants pretty bad if they can't handle the full dosage. You'll get a lot of salt buildup so I recommend doing just water every 3rd watering when using Kool Bloom. I have always used it in the last 2 weeks before flushing. One downside to Kool Bloom is that over the years I have noticed that it causes bananas (male flowers) to pop out in a lot of strains towards the end. It's so close to the end that the bananas don't have enough time to create seeds and bring harshness to your smoke. The upside to Kool Bloom is that it gets the job done and it's really really cheap. When I used Kool Bloom I always used a leeching agent like Flora Kleen or Final Phase to get an extra heavy flush to get those salts and chems out.

how much are you pullin per plant
Stupid question. How is my yield going to help you out at all?

It's not about how much you pull per plant. Any experienced grower will tell you that. It's about how much you are pulling per light and the quality of buds you're getting. I've pulled more off 6 plants than I've pulled off of 16 before. It all depends on strain, plant health, wattage of lights, grow environment, and size of plants. Enough said.

Im getting tired of seeing your negativity on this forum. I have still yet to see any of your grow, or your oil that is the most bomb in the world. So, I ask master grower.. where is your grow?

excellent response. thank you. I have purchased Big Bud to use now and also Overdrive for the last 2 weeks before my ~2 week flush. I am also using Purple Maxx, so I will play around with the combinations and ppm's when the time comes to use Overdrive and kool bloom at the same time. i will definitely be sure to give straight water every 3rd watering or so. priceless information. thanks again

I would use on or the other with Overdrive and Kool Bloom. They're essentially doing the same thing. I would say use Overdrive instead of Kool Bloom and use the Kool Bloom if you run out of Overdrive. I am not a big supporter of Advanced Nutrients because they overprice their products IMO but Overdrive is a better product than Kool Bloom. Big Bud is a great product. Again, overpriced IMO but a great product. When using Purple Maxx start out with 1/4 tsp to see if your plants can take it. It says 1/2tsp to 1 tsp per gallon. I gave 1/2 to my plants and they burned some so I cut back to 1/4tsp. They ended getting the full 1tsp per gallon but I had to ease them into and cut back on other nutes. I kept my ppms between 600-700 when using Purple Maxx. Don't go over 1000ppm with it.
