400 watt ebb & flow/pinneapple express

ive been growing for a little while now and am starting to get the hang of things.ive been growing in dirt but decided to go to hydro.i built my own ebb and flow system using stuff from walmart and lowes,i ordered the ebb and flow drainage kit and clay balls from worms way but thats about it.i only have three plants in the hydro system right now but will make the system a little bigger later down the line.i rooted the clones in a homemade bubble cloner and vegged for 2 weeks under 2 65w flouro's.they've been budding for 1 week now.the 2 that are in dirt are super skunk but aren't part of this journal.i;m using the oneness from humboldts nutes as well as super thrive,cal mag plus,and hydroplex for a little extra kick with the budding.i also use a few drops of 3% peroxide per gallon to help keep the algea down.the temps are a little high cause summer coming,im upgrading to a air cooled hood soon.all questions and comments are welcome and encouaged.

i keep the ph between 5.5 and 6.8,i just checkit every other day and bring the ph down to 5.5 i dont know what the ppm is cause i dont have a ppm pen.does any one have some advice,suggestions,anything?

oh yeah,i use distilled water from walmart,i mix up 6 gallons in the 10 gallon res and i add 1 gallon of tap water in the middle of the week,i let the tap wat sit out a couple days to get room temp and let some of the chlorine evaporate.heres some root porn for you guys,nice and white and healthy,im so proud of my self,lol

the ladies are doing great .there really growing fast and the buds are developing nicely.there drinking alot more water too,i have to add 3 gallons to the res a week now.i borrowed out my camera so ill update with pics soon.i also ordered some rockwool,bigger pots, and some new strains for the next grow.the seeds i bought was 5x hindu kush,1x raw deisel,1x lemon skunk,1x vanilla kush,1x pinneapple chunk,and 1x flower power,the flower power is a auto flowerer that im gonna put outdoors probly

heres some pics of the ladies,i checked the calender and there 3weeks on 12/12.heres some pics of the rockwool cubes and new pots for the next grow,i haven't gotten the new seeds yet,they'll take a couple weeks to get here.i also went in and cut of the small branches and leafs on the bottom(lollypoped)

Hey there John, I myself am growing pineapple express in an ebb flow setup so I thought I'd check yours out. It looks pretty good so far, you definitly wanna invest in a ppm meter though. And since its only a 400 watter you could also prolly move that light a lil closer... just my 2 cents. I'll be keeping an eye on your grow cuz this is my first grow with the pineapple also. My babies are a week behind yours, they're bout 30 inches tall right now which looks like it might be a lil bigger than yours but its prolly cuz theyre under a 1000 watts. Oh and one more thing, If ur gonna use rockwool I suggest getting the 6 inch cubes. This is my first grow using em and so far I am really impressed.

thanks for the rep,the distance between the light and the tops for the hydro is about 8 inches,the ones in the dirt are farther down but there just hangin out,im devoting my light to the hydro.the reason im doing the 4'' blocks is cause im putting them in 6''x6''x7.25'' pots that have notches in the sides and a 4'' fits about perfect.a ppm pen would be great but im on a budget.ill upgrade to a 1000 watter w/ vented hood soon i hope along with the ppm pen.i might try another nute as well,the oneness is working great but i wanted to check out technofloras success starter kit.

Good Luck with your P-Express... The last couple journals I saw with this strain were amazing!! Every1 that has grown this say they are VERY VERY happy with the results! Might have to try this strain out soon! =)

im sure yours will be much better cause you got a 1000 watter with co2 and better temps ,ect.right now my tent is on my front porch and the room gets realy hot,i need to vent the tent outside of the room but i have to get some supplies,plywood,vents,ext.another thing on my wish list is the co2 tank and regulator

heres a little update on the ladies,its day 27 flowering and they are looking nice,the bigger leaves are getting a little nitrogan deficient.im still using the oneness from humbolt nutes as well as calmag plus and hydroplex for some extra kick.i just got some big bloom,open sesame,cha-ching,and beastie bloomz from fox farms.im gonna add the big bloom and beastie bloomz in a few days,any comments are welcome and incouraged as always.

yes,it is bad for the roots to be hit by light.thats why i put hydroton in the bottom of the flood table,it seems to do the job pretty good.

its been a while since i updated so i thought i would do that.my girls are at 43-44 days and there doing pretty good.the pics dont do them justice.my buddy just gave me a 1000 watt hps light that im gonna put in the flower tent on the next grow and ill veg with the 400 watt

I'm starting my 7-10 day flush with only tap water ph'ed to 5.8 and i put in 2ml per gallon of h2o2(peroxide) to help with the little bit of algea i got going.Im gonna change the water out after a few days just to keep the water nice and fresh for the flush,im getting excited,lol

i decide to chop the girls a few days early,when there ready there ready.ill have dry weight and smoke report sooni also have a pic of the root balls and a batch of seedlings for the next grow

WOW!! fuckin NICE job man!! i dont get why ppl werent all over this journal!? you did a great job with pics adn update.. wow.. im really really impressed with the PineApple express man.. i want to get some soooooooooooooooooo bad!! but i dont have like $80 to dish out for them... =( adn its not worth buying a single seed.. adn havein to pay $20 sumthin for shipping... =/

well deff let me know how the smoke was.. i've heard AMAZING things about this strain man.. im sure you'll be happy! lol
