Day 23

Still waiting on my GLH light...I'm hoping that comes in the next few days because these girls want to flower

Our fallen soldier, the skunk #11, is back up and doing well! I'm thinking she'll be "Most Improved Plant of the Year" lol...or atleast of this grow :)

You'll also notice some great undergrowth. I'm going to target those areas with the cfl's that I ordered. That will definately help get some fattttyy colas :)

Day 26

I believe my led light should arrive tomorrow. I'm hoping so because as soon as I get that baby, I'm throwin these girls into 12/12. They can't get too big because the whole tent is only 5 feet tall.

Nice to see the skunk did made it :) They all look healthy and great from my pov.
If you dont want them to grow taller u can always tie them down (LST: low stress training). But note that while flowering they will still grow up to 3/4 of their size before flowering.

pace.

I lst'd my last grow. Went well in terms of form of the plant. I was considering topping these girls though before I started germing. But theyre all staying low and bushy, so idk. I guess I just don't want to have to take a knife to my girls haha

Equipment Update

I received my ballast/fixtures for my 2 ft T5's this morning before work. I ordered cfl and T5 bulbs from 1000 bulbs, and that package should be waiting for me when I get home tonite.
So these babies are going into flower tonite.

I promise to post pics tonite with everything set up :)

Day 1 of 12/12
Long day, but I finally got home and got everything unpacked. Got the (2) 42w 2700lk cfl's up for side lighting.
Chagrined, however, was I when I realized that the T5 fixtures I ordered were merely reflectors. So I don't have any ballast fixture to plug my T5 lights into... :(
So I'm going to buy those in a few days. I remember seeing some online for $22. It was a single socket fixture for a 2' T5, and came with one 6000k light already.

Does anyone have any other good recommendations on where to buy a ballast fixture for my (2) 2ft T5's??

Nice grow
Just curious If u think or see different when you use Co2 and what temp?as me too use Led and just recently added Co2 to the tent, but have got lot of problem to tuning it in…
Peace

ya the co2 seems to work nicely for me. I aim to keep temps around 84. My research and people I've talked to lead me to believe that higher temps are a good idea when adding co2.
As for tuning, I run a 3 minute on, at .5 cfm, every 3 hours or so while the lights are on. How do you manage co2, timed or controller?

Day 5 Update

The plants are looking good. The White Siberian is getting real tall, so I'm going to try topping for my first time tommorow. Wish me luck.

And I'm still waiting on my GLH light. I'm hoping to get that bad boy in this week because this Sunshine Grow panel is not cutting it.

Day 8 of Flowering

The girls are growing strong. The White Siberian and the Shaman are both growing really tall and quick. So I topped the White Siberian last nite, and tonight I just topped the Shaman.

And I'm still waiting to receive my glh led panel. Hopefully that comes soon or this harvest will be crummy

Heres the White Siberian after I cut right above the 3rd node

And this is the Kandy Kush :)

I just received( 1 week ago) my 240watt (actual power draw 140watts) veg/clone led panel from gotham hydro based in New York. I live in Spain, and it arrived here in 6 days. Dunno why your new light takes so long to get to you. Anyway I've been growing with HID for a few years now and I'm a die hard HID bloke, but I have to eat humble pie now as I have never seen Vegging anything like this new LED veg light, damn it I'm a convert !!!!!!!!

Lol. Glad ur happy with led max. And I know that glh is on backorder for most of their panels, so that's the main delay here

Day 16 of 12/12

Finally got my new GrowLEDHydro 290w light in!

Looks super cool in the grow tent :) However the temps do get up to 88 in the tent now because this light uses a bit more power. For now I've just left a flap open on the top of the tent which allows a 4" vent

Overall the plants are looking good. There are a few spots where the leaves got burnt because they grew into the cfl's.

The Kandy Kush is looking awsome!! Perfect structure, bud sites everywhere, :)

hey great grow, a couple of things. A lot of books about growing say that if you have your co2 at 1500 ppm then you can have the temperatures up to 90 and it will be fine because they will be still working at full capacity. Also the ed rosenthal book stressed that you cannot overdose plants on co2 even though its a common myth. so if you upped you're co2 just a little you would be fine with you're current temp and all those lights would get you a killer yield i bet.

Thanks for checking out the journal dude. Great points you made there. I currently have the co2 levels set to around 1200 ppm. Its hard to judge tho because I don't have a controller....yet :) More to come on that later

And I would have to agree with ed on that point. about a month ago when the plants were small, I accidentally left the co2 on all night at .5cfm and in the morning the plants were still fine.

Thanks again gogowitz for the input

Day 18 of 12/12

Ok. I've got good news and bad.

The good news is this is what the plants looked like last night. Some solid bud sites developing and great coloration in the leaves.

And now for the bad news...
This is what the plants looked like this morning.

I obviously had the light too close. It was only about 4 inches from the average canopy height. The leaves must have got light bleached from too much light intensity.
So I raised the light up about 6 more inches.

Has anyone had this happen to them before? Can I expect the plant to regrow those burnt leaves? Any input here is greatly appreciated!
