Hello and welcome to my grow.

I am growing with :

250 HPS in DR60
1 FAN
Passive Intake (Through vents in DR60)
Out-take through fan vent attached carbon filter
18 hours light through veg
BioBizz Soil and Nutes (Grow and Bloom)
Small Oil filled rad thermostat set at 25.c

Trying to keep it simple as it is my first attempt. Any help is welcome. Thank you ENJOY.

OK i germinated using papel towell method, and planted (2 seeds, other 2 planted 4 days after) in soil valentines day lol so hoping that is good for these feminised seeds.

i am now into Day 19 from planting to soil.

here are the pics of how its gone so far, ( roughly pictures taken every 4 days since they have sprouted).

What do you guys/girls think????

Cheers rollajoint having abit of a problam now tho.

HELP ME PLEASE, I had a look at my plants today, they seem to be drooping down alot. I water them every 3 days, but recently the soil had become very dry. people have told me i am overwatering???? COULD IT BE THAT I AM NOT WATERING ENOUGH. (I AM GIVING THEM 1ML to a litre of water of biogrow). ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED

looks good mate... Only thing I would suggest is one of those plants looks like its pretty deep in the pot. might cause you some issues when it comes to side growth in its early weeks.

subd

Leave the nutes for a week or soo mate its not really needed i dont use nutes for a few weeks .If the top of the soil is dry water thats my rule of thumb.

Cheers for taking a interest discordantmindfck makes me feel more confident with peoples opinions, im going to transplant the bigger 2 into bigger pots and will make sure i sort out the deep plant when doing that.

I will also stop the nutes for a week and see if they improve, only bad thing is i watered today with nutes :( but i wont next time which should be tuesday.

Ok, its been 3 days since i last watered them and i shoulda watered them yesterday but was out getting hammered watching my beloved arsenal lose in a game id just prefer not to talk about lol.

okay they are still drooping, but yesterday had a look and they were better but soil was almost dry didnt have enough time to ph water and repot so did it today and they were drooping alot, except for one which was in the bigger pot with still damp soil.

so i repotted all of them into bigger pots and watered them.

leafs at the bottom yellow is that normal? they dont look too good at the moment do they?

Yeh they probably just need some water. Plants in this stage of growth drink a lot of water so having them in smaller pots requires more watering. I have mine in 3gal pots and water every 2-3 days.

So i transplanted into bigger pots and have stopped the nutes, there looking better to me, but hopefully will improve more by the next update.

The one i topped (without even knowing what i was doing) now has 3 new shoots coming out of it which are not very clear in the picture but trust me it a beautiful site (to me anyway :-P )

Any comments/ help more than welcome

Well they're still putting out top growth so you know you haven't completely botched it :P... I would say just keep an eye on them. What is your Soil pH for each plant? Make sure it is 6.5-7 ideally 6.8 but anywhere in those ranges will work. Once you get to far out of those ranges the plant won't be able to take up the vital nutrients it needs from the soil.

Also I'm not to sure on the benefits on this methodology but rotate your plants (like play musical chairs with them not just spin them around) around every day but be careful not to squeeze the pots so you won't separate the soil from the sides.

thank you for the advice again. i might be able to borrow a soil ph tester quite expensive in england me thinks, i am ph'ing the water to 6.5-6.8 tho i thought that would be enough but mayby not? i will also rotate plants, picture will be same places but thats just because i like to compare progress, but i will switch them about. Hope you help me through this mate great help!

Keep in mind that sometimes when you add nutes that can raise your soil pH so you have to test it to know where you need to pH your water (either high or low) for instance.... My White castle had a 6.3pH at its last feeding so after adding the nutes etc I pH'd the water to about 6.9. when I went to test the soil it was reading about 6.7

ive been looking around and im sure the drooping/little bit of yellowing is what you say PH problem i will make it priority to test the soil, at the moment i havnt got the soil ph tester but do you know if i can PH the run off water after watering them too get an idea?

Yeup thats what i do... When you start to get run off and are done watering wait about 20 minutes then take a little bit when you drain it out and test it. You can also take a few teaspoons of the actual soil and put it in a cup with some water to get an idea of what it is but it wont be as accurate as measuring your run off.

Thank you for your help mate, i phd the soil came out at 6.9 so i brang it down to 6.6 and they are loving it really have put out alot of growth.

hope yours going well, here to help eachother all the way.

Definitely Much better looking... I'm having what i think is a nutrient (potassium or Cal) deficiency in my soil which i need to correct tonight when i water them.

On a side note... I've been trying a weird experiment and playing some metal and some classic rock while they are "sleeping" and ever since I started doing that i don't know if its just me but they just look a lot tougher. I mean I don't know if its doing anything beneficial but it's just one of my stoned ideas... lol

But ANYWAYS! good to see your girls are coming around... I've seen some pretty rough situations turn out ok in the long run while i was doing my research and stuff on here before i actually put my 1st set of beans in the ground so don't get discouraged they are definitely looking good.

you know what mate, in my local grow shop they told me it was a good idea to play some music, apparantly in amsterdam they have tried and proved it with better results. now dont quote me on that but you never know, stranger things have happened.

By the way mate, out of interest what were the signs of your deficiency?

Not too sure yet... I think it is either a NPK general deficiency or a Cal/mag deficiency... Guess my soil ran out of nutes finally lol... If it doesn't improve I will be dosing its next watering with some molasses mixed into the water. Watered tonight but got some solution on some lower leaves and burned them >_< so i will be resolving this issue with a watering wand soon........ smh.... thats what i get for thinking a watering can was a good idea >_<
