3x2x5 grow tent with 1000watt and 6 plants.

So I have a 3x2x5 grow tent with 1000watt and 6 plants inside of it, im running a 440 CFM fan through a cool tube and am planning on doing scrog. I'm just curious if this is too much for such a small grow space. It seems to be working out thus far but I don't know.

yea, be carefull youu dont bleach them.

if you did a sog or 12/12 from seed or clone youd probably be better off. Itll keep your plants as short as possible. Like stated above you dont want to bleach your plant.

Also do you have central air or a dedicated a/c for the room thatll be in? Because unless its very cold where you live right now itll be hard to run that with just a cooltube and a fan.

Too much heat and light a 400 or 600 watt would be better just my two cents for what its worth

You would need a dangerous quantity of CO2 to not be wasting tons of light in there. 400W would do really well in that space. 600W would be a little bit of overkill but still doable. But 1000W is just a waste.

looks like you need to start looking for a 4x4 tent. that will solve the problem real fast.

like he said 12/12 from seed or sog and your golden. shit even scrog 1 plant using a screen a little . you will see like a 7-10 degree F temp difference from ambient temp with a 440cfm fan. try it and see how your yields are. there someone on riu that grows with a 1k in a 3x2x6 and he does just fine. his names jigfresh.
and of course make sure that safety comes first by all means. (nothing touching hood, small oscillating fan blowing on the hood as well)

yupp i hook up a duct to my ac and run it over the top of my cooltube so itll sink pulling heat away from it.

as Meangreen said, your lights not to big, your tent is to small, craigs list 4x4 tent, IMO....

Like everyone else said, 1000 in a small closet like that is overkill. But I say FUCK YEAH!!! overkill is fun. Why the hell do people build drag racing cars... to take their kids to school? Nope... because we can.

I have a 2' x 3' closet that's about 9 feet tall from ground to ceiling. I had a 1000w mounted vertically in a diy cool tube for many grows. I ran bare bulb for one or two as well. I'm actually looking to downgrade to a 250 and a 400 run together... the 1000 is a bit un-necessary (lol, understatement). But it worked fine, no co2. I ran a 435 cfm fan. I have to say I live in a bit of a cooler climate. Highest temps in summer get to 85, winter stays around 55-60.
