here we go again. my first try was with some bagseed, came out great. 2nd go round was with papaya seeds, olny 1 sprouted and 9 dead beans. the 1 sprout dead after 3 days. 3rd attempt was bagseed again. they were looking good until i got spider mites. boric acid kills them little bugs. it will kill your plant too!!! don't use it.....

i contacted the company that i bought the seeds and they sent me replacement seeds. they get an a+ from me.
Cannabis Seeds (Marijuana Seeds) Supplier - Top quality Dutch Seeds

i'm using the paper towel method for germinating 4 seeds, going to miracle grow organic soil with no nutes under cfl's when they are ready.

i have a 400mh to put them under when time is right. the light is mounted in a cabinet measuring 30" x 40" with plenty of ventilation and perfect temps.

the last pic is the seeds in a plate covered with wet paper towels and a bowl with a wash rag covering the bowl, setting on a stereo receiver for warmth:peace:

It looks like you got a nice setup. Why would you pollute it with Miracle Grow soil??

So far i like Miracle Grow soil after 6-7 weeks of vegging. Per the company, the nute capsules are supposed to be used up about after one month. I noticed my plants not looking good after about a month, so since then I have been giving them Miracid in their water and they love it. No nute burn as of yet.

i had trouble with my papaya seeds the first run also. try and put your plate were they can get a little heat. i sat mine on top of my cable box. others use the top of the computer tower. just enough heat to keep them warm and not dry out the paper towel.

hope that makes sense.

yeah keeping them warm will help with the germination. this helps with all seeds. the only thing i didnt like about the seeds was the female to male ratio. i attempted to germ all 10 and 8 of them popped and two of them were females. marijuana-seeds.nl's ICE has a really nice female to male ratio and bcseedking's blueberry and juicy fruit have a nice female to male ratio. everything ive ever grown from nirvana had a poor female to male ratio. of course results may very. peace.

thanks mike, i have them sitting on a stereo receiver, the temps 78 degrees

that should help. just leave the reciever on..

2 of the 4 seeds were barely cracked tonight, left them there for 1 more day, let the 2 sisters catch up.

yesterday afternoon another broke dirt, i got curious and dug the last seed to see what she looked like. didn't look like the root has got any longer but it is still a nice healthy white. so she got covered back up.

still nothing out of the 4th one, i dug a little around the root tonight, it looks a bit longer, maybe wishful thinking, still white anyways. if it hasn't done anything noticeable by tomorrow night it gets replaced. you all want to see pics of 3 seedlings? i've got em under 12 cfl's in a cabinet lined with mylar.
