ok guys im vegging in my tote untill my new cab is complete. It will consist of the following...

2.5 x 2.5 x 5.5 (width, length, height) plywood box with a shelf at 20" from top. Painted white on the inside, as well as some 2x4's running across the top for the hangers.

The top section is going to have a 150w cfl with reflector mounted to the top for veg with a small desk fan for circulation

the bottom section is going to have a 400w hps, digital ballast with an easycool6 reflector. As well as a much stronger desk fan, like the black honeywell's incase anyone has used those, which will be mounted to the side

its also getting a 6" inline fan (424 cfm) and carbon filter which will take the heat from the light, then split to pick up the top section, then come back to go through the filter and exhaust out and up into the ceiling.

The shelf will be completely light proof as i will be using some fire puddy around the edges as well as caulk. The door will just be cut right into the side with some hinges. Im going to put some molding on the inside of the door "frame" to block light from coming out.

I know there wont be a whole lot of height for them to grow, even though im only gonna use 1 gallon pots. But i was thinking about making a small 1/8" trellis out of conduit that could be put in there when its needed with some sort of sliding brackets on it to adjust height. And i will have to tie the shit out of them but whatever works. Im working with some serious space issues these days...expect the project underway by 1st week of june

sounds bangin dude cant wait to see yea we are both going with 400 hps i love my cfls but cant wait to see what this thing will do !!!!!!!!!!!

dude im sooooooo up in there between the 250 and 400 because of my space
but you know what they say, especailly about bike bro...always get bigger then what you want...i can already see myself harvesting under the 250 and going...hmmmm wonder what i coulda got off the 400 then i would end up getting it anyway so fuck it man...im going with the 400 lol...i would be all for the 250 if i could still use my cfl's but since aircooling is a big factor of mine i just gotta get the 400 brother!..

dude im really looking forward to seeing what you, me, and the other guys jumping up to hps are gonna be able to do
im thinking about doing my main thread for the new cab over yonder homie

dwc is pretty cool man, i love seeing the roots when the guys take the lids off. i have a friend who tried it, had some descent results torwards the end but in the beginning it was every which way but straight man. the only thing that doesnt appeal to me about it is how unforgiving the girls are if you make a mistake im still dabbling in what nutes im gonna use for here on out. i have my basics but im thinking about adding some more shit to my lineup. im gonna do some research about AN's bud factor x, its kinda pricey but i hear good things about it... keep me posted on that dwc brother!

theres a guy here in town that does tomatoes in swc...hes got a troth thats only 6" x 8" and about 20 feet long each
plant every foot and the roots just share the space man, if i was ever gonna do a water culture grow i would go that route...

are you yander dawggy? no updates. my cfls dont do alot to my heat, but im in a shed.not having a full cabinet is fucking with my temps big time.i checked the tattle tail on my thermometer and it said 103!!!!!!!! jeeeezuuus.with it empty my space heater keeps cycling, nothing to hold heat! anyways,i bet u could get 250 hps &cfls closer with better penatration ina small space than a 400 in same small spot. just me &my own opinion.

no updates man, sorry lol. lets just say its at a stand still as of right now. new cab is still in order to get going first week of june but right now unless you want to see some peppers and cucumbers theres nothing special lol...thanks for hanging around kmk bro. and im def going to use the 250 over the 400 man. the canopy to reflector will be way to close on a 400 and i dont want there to be strings and rope all over my cab. i might shoot for 2 main kolas per lady bout 24" tall
