it's normal. Just keep checking those trics and posting pics with concerns.
Thank you! I was just going to start flush next week (2 weeks wanted) and this was sooner than I thought! Wanted to get another good potassium and P feed!

When your pistils are 50% brown start checking again. She's about to swell up. Also check the trichs on the calyx not the leaves. Sugar leaves can give a false representation as they sometimes amber much quicker.

Ok cool, will do and I’ve read that about sugar leaves, this is from the calyx :D. I’ll keep an eye on her, but good to hear she’s going to swell more!

sugar leaves will always have amber 1st and not a good indicator...look for amber trichs on bud itself

have a Maui just this morning has amber on some sugar leaves while other Maui same age has no amber and both have approx. two weeks+ to finish

I got my camera deep inside the calyx area, is that still considered sugar leaf area?

I know it’s debated on soil grows, this one was mostly organic but I know there probably were some chemicals in there. Why do you say that and what would you suggest? :D
Just do a little research yourself and you will see why. Broscience does not make it true. One of the biggest falsehoods in growing cannabis

I’m in school for a degree plant biology. I also have a farm and never once did I ever hear anything on flushing until I got on forums for weed. As for your plants they have a while for them to go so don’t concern yourself on checking just yet. They should fatten up a good deal over the next few weeks. Just be patient.

No for sure and it takes 75 percent of my day easy doing all the reading lol, not being lazy ;). I just gathered it from some old man growers who I respect with experience, not a big fan of bro science! I think I’ll do maybe a week of pure water at the end, maybe just a watering of two and make it maybe 2 gallons at a time vs the 1.5 gallons I do now (7 gallon smart pot). I just put two new plants in my tent so I had to lower the volume of water so they could dry easier and not sky rocket my RH.

Right on and will do! Next grow I’m doing will be more pure, but that’s good to hear they will fatten up more this week. I’ll be sad to chop her if we’re being honest, bitter sweet!
