You're gonna need to keep your temps in check....ventilation is required ...cfls put off some heat...just not as much as hps....get ya some exhaust going which will pull in some of your cooler air...

I would like to keep things quiet, a fan the moves enough air, but does not should like a F16. Smell has not been an issue, I keep a jar with the bottom half full of silica jell and the top half with activated carbon , helps keep smell and humidity in check.

Day #17 they are both showing hairs, a little disappointed though I wanted a male and female my first round. I hope to get a decent amount of seeds, whenever I want to pop one in, you know. Ill have some pics up later.

For sure I thought there might have been a way to save or bookmark this thread. I am really curious as to how tall the low riders will get. I saw a couple pics of some that where maybe 8 inches tall at the end of harvest.

they slow grow is because you started out in large bags..maybe if you started in a party cup, you'd notice a faster growth... you can test it for next time...grow in the bag as you do..and just grow 1 in a party cup...and compare after 2 weeks..

I dont want to tell you are wrong, but with an auto flower strain it is best to grow them directly in the same pot as your would flower in. Anything that can possibly stress the plants is frowned upon, that includes trans planting. If I had my camera (andriod my girlfriend has) I would show you the amazing growth that has start. trust me FUCK a party cup and just plant them like I did, they are slow growing strains for the first 2 weeks, besides I have them on 12/12 with my other no autoflowering females so they will grow a bit slower.

LOOKING GOOD! I am currently growing the same ladies you are right now. Mine are about 2 weeks from harvest or so. I wish I had as many CFL's as you to work with because my ladies would have been BEASTS. Anyhow i am really liking your set up with those lights as well, the only thing is in my opinion you should probably bring your CFL's closer to your ladies. They wont stretch as much and will bush out more. Mine only got to be able 19 inches its not a tall plant really but I'm sure you will probably see a little bit of a difference. Keep up the good work and I hope the best for you my first grow went very smooth and I am very please with it. + rep + sub'd so I can watch these pretty's grow

Looking good man, I had heat trouble too. All I did was add a microwave fan for my exhaust, Just run it on high and it dropped it alone 10*F.. Ventilation is key to a great success imo.

Hey bro thanks for stopping by my thread. I see that your ladies are doing really well. Yours are bigger then what mine were at the same amount of days you were correct. For my 2nd grow im getting more lights but since the summer time is so hot where I am from I am going to have to wait a little bit long until I can put my air condition near my closet. I see your getting pretty good results with MG soil which is pretty cool these are hardy ladies in general. I used FoxFarm just to stay safe because Ive seen many other grows start off bad due to MG. Cheers to your ladies though ill be stopping by every couple days or so

I have used MG soils many times and I have never been very happy with it just never had anything else to work with. I seen MG Organic and said fuck it, I tested it out. I Bought MG Organic, added 9 cups of perlite to the bag. I also use MG organic nutes (Blood Meal, Bone Meal) Which I mixed into the soil before planting, I mixed in quite a bit since most good organic nutes should not burn your plants. So I put about 1/2 cup of each into the soil and mixed it thoroughly.
As far as lighting, the girls only have 2x68w bulbs on their side of the room.
The pictures I took this morning are nothing, I rotate the plants to get even lighting, it only takes the plants less then 5 min to reposition the leaves, fucking crazy you can almost watch them move.

Looking good...when your ryders are 4-5 weeks old, they are going to almost explode in growth/budding....give'em all the energy you can as long as you can control heat....MG Organic is a good medium to grow in ....it kinda teaches ya about watering....cause if ya overwater, you'll learn how to kill a plant!
Lowryder 2 will bud profusely, usually with one main cola and several satelites....harvested timely will result in a very exotic taste and great buzz....don't let trics go amber on LR2....try your best to harvest when trics are 95% cloudy, few clear and even fewer amber.....Mine typically are ready at 62-65 days from sprout....

Thank you Oldreefer, that was some of the information I have been looking for. I have learned my lesson about overwatering, This is why I have 9 cups of perlite in the organic mix as well as 3 inchs of vermeculite at the bottom, because bags dont like to drain as well. I have only watered them a total of 3 times counting the first soaking before germination. I thoroughly drench them, let them drain out and then drowned them again about an hour later. I test when to water by a moisture meter and I test about 6 inchs down, as the plant gets taller I will test lower try to ensure I get the root system to use the whole bag.
