Strain: LowRyder #2 (AK47 x LowRyder)

Soil: MG Organic + 15% perlite

Lights: 7 x 23w , 2 x 42w, 1 x 68w. 313 true watts. 1300 watt equivalent. 22000 Lumens.

Temp's: Lights on 75 - 79f 45% - 55% humidity.
Lights off 68 - 75f 50% - 60% humidity.

Lots of pictures coming soon. Once they break ground. I planted them this morning.

Ok here is a couple pics of my setup, and one of the seeds has broken ground.

One question will it cause me any problems growing straight out the bag?

it shouldnt as long as you have drainage on the bag

i am interested in how your grow goes. i am waiting for my lowryder 2 seeds to come in the mail and will also be using cfls. what nutrients are you planning on using?

Superthrive, Bloodmeal, and bonemeal. Absolutely Zero foliage feeding (spraying) will be done. I am replacing lights as I go, the 7 x 23w will become 12 total 42w bulbs. as well as having 2 x 68w at the base to give some side lighting.
Thats 640w total, 2400w equivalent, 40000+ lumen's.

Both of them have pop from the earth, now its time.

Nice set-up w/the CFLs, I use them all the time

Im planning on more my bill never runs over $140 a month

I do have only 1 suggestion. I only advise this because I too used those same emergency blankets to line my walls
I bought project boards to make mine, but you can use any thick cardboard.
But I used 2 sided tape and cut out pieces of the blankets that will cover the whole board and smoothly rolled it on.
Amazing results. helps out so much more, they almost look like mirrors because it makes it so flat.
More light spread, less hot spots. Not that those emergency blankets create hot spots anyway.

They seem to be slow growing, although they look great. Check them out.

i think you might have a issue with the mg soil but thats imo. if you have used it before and its woked then nvm but im interested to see how this goes subbed+++

MG Organic soil, +15% perlite. I use Composted cow and horse shit with 15% perlite in my outside garden, just about everything grows good out of, MG organic is not much different then MG Organic + a few micro nutrients.
I also mixed small amounts of bone and blood meal into the soil, drenched the soil in water allowed it to fully drain the excess, I tested both the run off and took a soil sample. My ph is at 6.6.

They seem to be slow growing, but here the last couple of days they have grown up a bit.

Looked at them a couple of minutes ago, and they are on their 5th node, they were on their 4th this morning.

question for anyone who reads this.... I still have a slight issue with heat. How much airflow do I need? I currently have 1 12cm Delta fan @ about 200 cfpm being rifled down 5 feet of 6" exhaust hose, no bends, completely stretched out, straight, along with 2 8cm 45cfpm fans pulling heat directly from above the bulbs. I have been keeping temps at a stable buy controlling my apartment thermostat. my apartment is at 66f, fucking cold in here, and its 79f in the closet. WTF, the bulbs are all fairly cool to the touch. There is no intake fan, only a 6" whole at the bottom. I was trying to use negative air pressure, should I take a different approach?
