3 or 5 gallon?

Which is the best pot to use, 3 or 5 gallon? I dont want the pot to be too big but is 3 gallon large enough to veg a good size plant with enough room for the roots to be comfortable?

Bigger is better but a 3 or 5 gallon container can support quite a large plant.




If space isn't a problem I'd use the 5.

They say a gallon of soil for every foot of growth. I would highly reccomend the 5 gal. size. More forgiving, and the roots can spread out more. Marijuana loves the space.

I use five gallon make the plants as tall as up to four feet and not have to worry about root problems just make sure you put big holes in whatever you use
