Glad I found this thread, but people seem to think it is about the fingers on the leaves........ It isn't! It is about the plant having 3 SETS of leaves PER node! I have a bagseed that I planted and it has this same quality. I have another seed from the same sourace and it does not have 3 sets.

Here are some pics:

DSCF4589.jpg, DSCF4609.jpg This shows all 3 sets on the same node level. This same plant also split at the 1st node without topping. PX1.jpg

I am hoping this plant is a female! Even if it is a male, I plan on pulling it out of the room and letting it grow up and collect pollen from it to breed into females in the future.

I have the same thing going on. It's a Snow White seed 2 weeks old. This is the second node & has 5 leafs on each of the three branches. I love the look, just hope it is a female.

i had one do the same thing and then after it got a little older the top of the stock(main top where the cola would be) split off and formed 2 tops and now they both grow 2 each. im not saying that will happen to yours but it was wierd.

it grew 4 at one point when it was younger.

trifoliate and whorled have nothing to do with each other. Whorled is when it gets stunted and the bud gets twisted, super dense, and rectangle shaped and wont go up. Trifoliate is just 3 leaves per node when young, it wont make denser buds, why would you even have 2 leaves per node by the time you flower?
