3.5 days and no germination.. Give up hope?

If three and a half days went by would you give up hope?

(the other thread in this room is about a different seed)

I've had seeds take 5 days and would finally pop... Just make sure to keep your eye on them and make sure they are always moist.

what germ technique are you using?

How are you doing them? Have you done the paper towel til a taproot came out?

I've never had it be 5 days and nothing in a pot before - but then again I've always used the towel method...give them another 5 days then consider chucking them, and make sure you keep the soil nice and moist during that time by feeling the surface and checking its still moist

Wet paper towels seemed like the best method of germination...

this almost seems like an answer....

Make sure you keep them in a warm place...on top of your pc tower, or ps2, etc. Seeds need 3 things to germinate. Moisture, Darkness, and warmth. Be patient though.

Put in a warm dark place, cover with ceramic bowl so no moving air. -foolproof

(1) jiffy/peat pellets.
(2) propgator.
(3) dark drawer.
(4) 21*-23*.
70-80 hrs for all to sprout.
(every time).

I have a wet paper towel on top of a small plate covered lightly in plastic wrap and covered by a little ceramic bowl next to a heat vent

just be paitent, farmers dont sow theirs seeds on may 31st and see growth on april 1st it just takes time...if they are quality seeds they will sprout and by quality i mean the way they look not how much they cost...patients is key nothing wrong with being excited though
