2nd Attempt, Winter grow

Hey tokers, to cut a long story short, my two girls died a horrible death due to excessive heat while being babysat. :spew:

New grow,new house, new equipment, new plants.

4x Randoms from seed ;germed 12, kept the biggest.

4x23w 6500k Cfl
2x23w 2700k Cfl

Good soil, no nutes.

With a massive outbuilding as part of my new house, Ive turned a crap filled storage room into ........a crap filled storage room with a ninja stealth box tucked away. No noise, Highly secure.

your set-up looks quality, simple yet perfectly efficient! nice job! from the looks of the third pic of just the vegging plants... it looks to be turning slightly yellow on. pick up some Blood Meal fromyour local hardware store/garden shop or you can also use Freeze-Dried Blood Worms found at your local pet shop(as long as they sell fish). another great fertilizer you can use is Bone Meal found at a local hardware store/garden shop. it contains high amounts of Nitrogen(N) and Phosphate(N), if u didnt know this you will now... Nitrogen(N) is a nutrient the plant uses to promote healthy as well as fast leaf and stem development, essential to a plant in the veg process. Phosphate(P) is a nutrient the plant uses to promote strong, healthy and fast root system development. take these to nutrients into serious consideration for the veg cycle. another thing i noticed from your pics is the plants appear to be stretching out too much, looking for more light. I use cfl's for my grows and also mix up the 6500K's with the 2700K's. i keep my lights about 4 - 5 inches from the plants since cfl's dont get very hot. foliar feed the leaves by hand to ensure they dont dry out. u want your plants to use nutrients to birth new rapid growth, not to repair the parts of plants that get dried out. good luck... any questions feel free to ask!

Awesome info dude, thanks a lot.Yeah the plants stretched a lot early on, as i didnt have the box setup,lights etc. Those photos were taken an hour ago, first time the plants have had decent lights since sprouting. Regarding the nutes, ive heard a lot of people on RIU saying not to give any nutes for the 1st month??? Anyone hear have any info or stories about using seaweed extract ferts???

pretty stealth bro,typical nzer already tryin to sell us ur car parts, whats that black 1?kp or dx? lol, i cant believe since i last seen you your onto the fridge racks lol,great minds think alike ae ow,heat killed the last lot?bummer, ive been havin the odd heat issue too so i swaped my light cycle so they come on at night when its colder,finally got round to makin a place for em,dont laugh to hard,i got about a month left

its weird that you cant see the pics but i still can lol,its probably the stuffed up way i did it cos i cut it from my album then pasted it onto the page,i was to smashed last night,i give it a go the proper way this time, as for the strain i got told by the guy i got it off that it was ak47,but i think he was just callin it that to make himself feel cool sayin it,cos i found out he got the oridginal seed off one of my other mates who got the seed and the weed it came from me in the first place lol, funny how it came back round to me like that,so its oldschoolbigbudXblueberry,it was my brother that we got the seedy weed off in the first place,the clones from em are about 12-15 generations old now i guess

Wow dude, nice plant(s)?how many you got in there?? Love the desk lamps lol, was gonna do the exact same thing but ended up gutting the lamps and just using the light fittings.

For anyone who gives a shit heres the latest official blazedkiwi update!! :hump:

Got too fucking cold. Got Infested with fruit flies. Got a room for rent so couldnt use old room.so.......................

Moved inside to wardrobe, less space but I needed the peace of mind.

Looked up fruit flies on RIU (thanks again for all the info!!!), nicotine spray owned the lil bastards.

All are growing well, in 12/12 now, not getting massive height, but really spreading out laterally.

Nice setup! I'm subscribed. are you doing any LST or anything to keep em small(or did i miss that)?

what about C02? Have you tried the bottle with yeast/sugar/water(and if i missed that i apologize)?

I havent really decided if im going to lst them as of yet, I was hoping to use a different method of training each plant as an experiment, one LST, one FIM, one supercrop, and one topped normally. I dont fuck around with co2 myself, but usually stick to an oil lamp if my girls need co2

i got 4,its the same four stretched ass clones i showed you in your last journal,but they hadnt started budding back then,its a wonder they doin any good at all considering ive only got 130watts (2 blue 25watt 4 red 20watt) no ventilation (although i do open the door and blow the fan at em close as on full power 1-2 time a week) and no nutes at all just whats in the soil, whick is about 50% blackmagic seedraising mix(for good drainage) 50% home made compost + about a cup of worm casting off the lawn and about 1/5 of a cup of bone that has been prepared for bone carving ground up(where i get my phosphorus content)

oh yeah forgot i also put on a weak mix of mollases once a week, told you it was a bit rangi,shouldve at least painted the walls white or something,yours is way flasher,im wondering if you noticed my tricky rack system,i just move the rack up and down,dont have to move the lights,i like how we both just using crap thats lyin around,burt would be proud
