More than likely, I would call it stress from either nutes, water, or the heat of being too close to your light (they are indoors, right?). The other possibility that I would take into account is that they could have pollinated. When a plant gets pollinated, the hairs turn brown and wither away.

Do you ever come into contact with shitty quality or outdoor pot? Pollen has a way of getting around...

pistils die throughout the entire grow... its not uncommon to see dead pistils, that, within a few days, have regrown back to bright white ones..
they can also brown like that if you rub up against them or spray them with a spray... i have a couple girls that i brush up against while moving around in my grow room and the tips of them are the same way...
it could be "wind burn" if you have a fan trained directly on that plant all the time.. but it's unlikely..
either way i wouldnt worry about it as long as the buds are still growing..

Ohhhhh. I actually did touch these buds that are brown I think a day or two ago. I was seeing how dense they were. Only 3 areas out of like 50 have browning and I think its the ones I touched...

OK. There are 26 shoots all going straight up. Each shoot has about 5 small buds in the inter-nodes. Those are the ones that are packing on crystals right now.I want a bunch of colas not popcorn nugs, should I chop these lil fuckers off? Will that force more growth to the tops?

I use that trimming technique, but you should be careful taking too much off your plant at this point. I had two identical plants in flower a few harvests ago, one that was trimmed before it was put in and the other still bushy. At around 3 weeks, I decided to trim off the little nugs under the main canopy. Big mistake. The plant went into shock, and the bud development ceased to a crawl. When I harvested the two plants, one yielded a little more than 2oz of mini nugs while the other yielded 5oz+ of large colas. Just becareful of what you do to your plants once they are flowering.

A quick little insight to how I trim mine for big buds...
As they veg, I top them early on, usually once or twice, then let them grow natural. A week before the plant is ready to be switched to 12/12, I take a initial batch of clones using the branches from the bottom area. The next week, the day of transition, I go back through and take off all the other nodes that are below the top 1/3 of each branch. This clears 99% of the under growth by day 1 of flower. Then, over the course of the next 2-4 weeks, I watch for new emerging node sites and take them off as they come. This is my average plant:

i got a question fo rya
so i topped my plant and it came out with 3 nodes ... im going to LST her the whole time shes in vegg and flowering gonna vegg for 2 months
my question is i see peoples lst with like 10 main tops (colas)... will mine be like that also or do i have to topp multiple times for em to be like that
