24 YR OLD FEMALE GROWING WEED 1ST TIME

I only been a smoker not a grower. Me and my friend were cracking bud and some seeds fell out, so out of curiosity i took them home, researched for a good few minutes, and i planted them in the only tiny planter i had. And BAM. They started to grow.

See, this was originally a joke and or an experiment to see if i could do it (i always thought growing weed was mission impossible, i was ready to laugh at my failure) but to my surprise they are doing pretty ok. After doing a lot of research after planting, i actually tried with my little seedlings.

They sprouted Tuesday and shot up Wednesday, and today (Thursday) they grew even taller. Making these 3/4 days old.

Now, i know my circumstances are not ideal. I know i need to separate the plants, get proper soil (i got clay like dirt from my backyard) the whole 9. Now i see they sprouted i want to seriously grow these babies.

But my question is, how am i doing so far?

I put the seedlings out for a few hours today for the first time ever and at first it seemed to make it sprout even more. As the day went on, i think they started to burn in the sun. I live in Mass, where the days are getting hotter and more humid.
I was scared so i brought them inside in scares of burning them. I’m not sure what the light requirement is for seedlings, as i said this is a joke turned real. Every and any info would help. Can i bring them outside to get sunlight everyday and then bring them back in? Would a fluorescent light work better? How do my seedlings look? My stem color etc? help me ! Lol

The tips started to turn a little brown and the stem is dark in some places and crooked. The little sprout leaves on one is also looks like it’s bent downwards... i just don’t want them to die. Hit me with all your info !

Welcome female.
I would separate them and get them in solo cups or something similar with good seedling soil and drain holes.

Get them under that fluorescent
18on/6off.

Don't over water.
Don't feed yet.

If your not sure how close to get the light post light specs and someone will help. If its too far the plant will stretch too much.

I would'nt put it in the sun yet

What fluorescent light do you recommend?

For seedling any 6500K CFL would work for just a few plants. Even 5000K would work. I would separate them asap before roots entwine. Transplant into a seedling soil or any non-fertilizer soil as fertilized soil will often burn seedlings.

Notice these bulbs are 9" and 10" long. 5000K can grow a plant start to finish although at flower you will want to add a 2700K or 3000K

You successfully germinated seedlings, so congrats on that. Just pluck the one nearest the edge and maybe you'll get lucky with it. Have fun but please don't put them in clay! Read up on good dirt for growing because you are kind of done if you mess that up.

Here is a deal on lights.

I got one of these and it is great. Goes about 220 watts from the wall and low temperature rise, as LED's do. I'd buy the extra one from you for $50 if you don't need two. A pair of these normally is ~$170!

I've run HPS and T5 florescent before and these Vander lights are well made and quiet(fans) excellence Lumens per watt and perfect for a 3X3, or two plants.

Telling a new user to "go led" usually isn't the best idea. Many horrible rip off led companies out there and the girl will be confused a sister fuck if this is her very first time.

I'd, go do ale research and until then go to walmart or something and get some cfls.

Or sunlight if you can
That is why I recommended the Vander Lights. They are very much like HLG quantum but cheaper and more lumens per $. They are not so burpal as some of the other cheap lights and run very cool (+3 F over ambient).

They are nowhere near hlg lmao. 1500watt light pulling 200 Watts these are the sort of things that give leds a bad name. Real full spectrum isn’t purple.

What you talking bout Willis??? No way is it like a hlg qb. She could get a 65qb and be in there like swimwear... FACTS!!! Although I went straight to the qb 288... And a 65 is only a few dollars more... Sounds like a Clint Eastwood movie...
