as far as giving bigbudballs sh*t for commenting on your ignorance, you should be carful. You could have learned alot from him and people like him. He is a good guy and is very helpful. Staying tuned! Have a massive soft spot for MG, CFL, etc, low buck common item grows. (though a indica dom strain might have been a better choice; and that coming from a sativa fan)

i couldnt check out your grow cause the link was dead. but to be honest im glad I got under your skin because now you put yourself out there more and seem like a better guy then the "is this 12/12" if you know what i mean. Im Sorry if i pissed you off. Ignorant was way to strong for the situation.

They were 2" or 3" clones when I started and they are 12" now; wanted to mention this earlier. The light from the CFL is good to about 4" below the lamp and drops off from there. The socket at the top blocks off a lot of area, but I'll guess this lamp has an effective range of 9(ish) vertical inches of premium light.
I've kept the bottom of the lamp about a half of an inch above the tops. When they stop vegging I'll drop it down in between them.

the only thing i can think thats wrong with aluminum foil is if it is crinkled and in my opinion it can raise the temp slightly
