Female plant (feminized seeds).

Mutation
IMG_20230706_221834717~2.jpg

Normal early mutation but actually getting some size.
The thick leaf stem behind nodal growth is above picture leaf stem.

The mutation is now around 1.2" . Mutations top has now formed to a 90° angle. Time will tell on what's next.
IMG_20230710_221434038~2.jpg

Zoomed in to see mutation is reccuring. (Branching is off leaf stem on right)
IMG_20230710_221434038~3.jpg

Nothing to show on the plants put into flower. Stretch is minimal on most but not all. Pictures.as soon as flowering begins.

The first clones taken from plants that are now in flower have began to be put into soil.

First set of clones taken from the 4x plants kept as initial mother's are just begining to show root nubs. ( https://www.rollitup.org/t/2023-a-new-beginning.1090972/post-17375888 )

Second set of clones taken from 4x plants kept as mother's too early for root development.

Flowering will be done in under 60 days. Plants have stopped there tiny bit of stretch and bunching up. So today well start the countdown. (Flowering only around 40-50 days. Giving an extra 10 days since there just at the initial bunchup. But initial flowering stretch is done.) (Sorry for red spectrum)

Absolutely no nutrients have been used yet. We will begin a very low nutrients in a week or two. So be prepared to see deficiencies soon for a while.

Begining of bunchup

Dirt clones w/dome off. Not pretty and more of a hassle. (Dirt clones are done in loose single container soil. When there tops turn bright green again or begin to stretch 99% of the time they're rooted and ready to replant). And yes you should not put into one of clones into small containers with combined dirt. As long as you do not let them GROW in the container it's fairly simple to have rooted clones 1/2" - 1" from each other and not jack roots the roots when replanting.
NOT PREFERRED METHOD. But it works.

Suspended water clones. They stay far healthier than dirt clones throughout the process. Although sometimes they have a rough couple days when transfered to soil. We don't use bubbler. We just suspend on water with water swap every 2 days or so.

We only grow how ANYONE can grow. We do not use high tech systems that cost thousands of dollars. Not that that's bad. But we have always posted only grows that ANYONE new to growing can do. I have always believed that part of the therapeutic uses of marijuana is taking care of it, learning your plants & being full hands on. Most growers now days only change reservoir water or raise a light and truly have no clue what's happening. Again there's nothing wrong with that.

So I decided to feed the microorganisms in the soil every few days until we begin using nutrients. Small amount of molasses will be used every few days. (Again this is not a nutrient but a microbe booster)

Cross between white widow and (edit not gg) blueberry..no clones were taken as we were not sure if it would be a true female as 1/4 of the seedsman feminized seeds of blueberrie herm. Pollen was collected off fem blueberry (colloidal silver). Mother of used blueberry showed no signs of herm throughout veg and flower. Entire strain scrapped.
Female calyx on left, male sack on right. True hermaphrodite.

(This was edited. I had gg on my mind and Royal queen. I apologize to rq seeds as I've always gotten good stock from them.). Ww and bb were freebies from seedsman. Again nothing against seedsman as they provide quality strains from seedbanks not available in the USA. But there blueberry did suck.

Camera seems to be taking some crap pics for some reason.
But here's a pic of a fem starting to flower (yes node above is missing it's leaf's due to a failed fim.)

IMG_20230716_114250948~2.jpg

Mutation is now displaying undesirable traits. Mutation continues to appear every few nodes. BUT mutation is now also no creating a branch but only Brach's occasionally. Below image you can see just a set of Brach's coming off the leaf with no branch. We will continue to grow it out to see what it produces.

IMG_20230716_115622216~2.jpg

Initial branch top is begining to appear very small. Possibly coming to an end

Camera flash makes canopy appear more deficient than it is.
We won't use nutrients for at least another week.

Please keep in mind while viewing this journal that this grow is a grow literally anyone can do. There will be deficiencies and breaks but it will all be addressed as it arises.

Also please keep in mind that our actual flowering journal has not even began. We are currently just flowering possible mother plants of different strains as we do not have the room for 18 or so mother's at one time. If a flowering plant has a trait we like or uniform to previous mother's we will keep one of the clones previously taken and flower the rest. (clones were taken from most)

This journal is also following a mutation that can be seen in previous pictures and pictures posted in the future after this post

If this journal makes you cringe now then you will definitely want to keep your eyes out when we begin the actual flowering.

4x current moms. Plants will be way smaller tomorrow as I am taking large clones and dropping a few down a couple nodes.

(These moms have had minimal light exposure in the last week to promote stretch for large clones)
IMG_20230717_144440959~3.jpgIMG_20230717_144432260~3.jpg

28 more clones will be taken tomorrow.

I raised the lights and reduced the amount of light on the canopy to around 46k lux.
Screenshot_20230718-142744~2.png

Took like 10 clones..All clones taken were double branched "V" from previous cloning. I was going to do just my normal single top clones but decided I needed to majorly reduce the size of the 4x moms so..

So a few days ago it had appeared the mutation was not making branches anymore but only Brach's on the leaf stem. Brach's were not Brach's. So mutation still repeating just now starts out almost invisible.

Today is day 49 since the plants broke the soil.
We have over 50+ clones and plants that we consider now flowering. (No nutrients used yet. Blah blah yellow, blah blah. well start using nutes next week sometime)

Flowering day 1
IMG_20230718_152036322.jpg

Please note that some of these will not make it throughout the journal. Slowly they will be relocated as the actual grow is slowly introduced into this area.
