Never grew weed before.. that’s just a bagseed

Snapped the main stem accidentally the other day and lost the two main colas. So I was wondering if it’s at all beneficial or ‘worth it’ to top any of the side branches to make up for it? Would it be a positive gain in doing so?

First grow, decided to mainline and tonight was the night of the clipping. Everything went well until I decided that the fan leaves I had left were the extra branches that needed to be wired with the rest. I wired the branches instead and tried to move then into more of a "x"... Noob mistake...
