Heavy frost. Whose coming down because of it? I'm gonna do most, leaving maybe 25%.
I’m was more concerned with beating the rain that’s coming Thursday night/Friday. I’ll be pulling my other Holy Grail and Diamond Muffin (a very pretty shade of purple she is…) between now and Thursday. But the other (3)… Puna Diesels just aren’t finished yet, stacking well with just a tinge of pistol color. Just hoping they handle this chill given their Hawaiian history and finish well, but ain’t much I can do but sing sweet nothings to the colas and stay the course till I can’t. Lol :D I will say those Puna Diesels are handling PM and potential bud rot issues really well to date.

The heavy rain only motivated me to harvest. I'm milky/amber, not heavy amber, just about right. This morning was 34° and tomorrow morning the same. Everything's purple and finished, starting mid April helped me finish up the crucial weeks before the end of October.
It's coming down, and, ah, going up. The only plants I may leave is an ECSD and a superskunk bush, but those too, may be coming down.

Talked to a friend that works at the Bernardston grow factory. They've come to produce a strain called Kitchen Sink, with alleged 39% THC. Like wow, even cooler was a video of the inside of one of the 10k plants grows, they have 3 I believe.

I'll be honest I have a solid 2-4 weeks left to go in central mass, everything's still very green though so who knows #makeittothejar

Good luck, my friend! I made the decision for a full moon harvest. Am happy with the decision. 'End of October" and 'Easy' is an oxymoron imhu
What’s humbling and frustrating is just accepting the fact that it’s out of my hands… Those Puna Diesels were also started inside in April and went outside for good June 1st, but done is done as they say but they just ain’t there yet. It is what it is… I’ll let them go till they finish or Mr. Freeze harshly advises otherwise. ;)

And it’s quite do-able (where I am at at least) barring some esoteric 20-week Thai, or whatever.

I’ve run white widows, my purple garlic onion Sativa hybrid, wedding cake, blueberries, etc…all through the last week of October here in SE MA.

But then again there is also that algebraic plot where the growing time intersects my tolerance for bullshit like mold. Could be earlier or later in October depending on individual plant maturity.

Still going strong here, only a few yellow leaves and I've only had to pick about 6 golf ball sized pieces of rot out.
A lot of the top colas are 2 liter bottle sized, but not super frosty yet.

Looking good for all my Pilgrims here in MA. Update on the hash waziri and putang, though they were lost to white powdery mildew. But I filled a cooler of wafer, dumped in (4 -5) bottles of h2o2, (13)h20 and soaked the tops last night. Ya , ittle chilly. Soaked and agitated for a long time. Couple hours at least. Hung up to dry and was absolutely amazed at the results. Thought the hash plant was a lost cause but after seeing the pitang results, I decided to save the other plant, which is soaking now. Only this time I moved the cooler inside. Occasionally I agitate and turn the colas over, waters fizzes when I do., I saved a couple pounds anyway.

In the microscope today I see some movement! It’s a cheap little portable unit - so I can’t get it in focus on whatever this is.
perhaps spider mites?
No experience with this issue - dealing with with rot has been the focus. I am going to chop today - what is the best course here?

I am treating with dr zimes (citric acid) after the chop and I will wash the bud as well with h2o2 or mayber zerotol.

any other advice?
