I got Black DOG cuttings from a guy in Southern Oregon who has family the either works there or is involved in ownership.
I harvested mine Sept 12th, He harvested 4 days earlier in So. Oregon and a Rec Grower I sold about 200 clones of Black DOG to harvested before me too!
HSO website says 48-55 days. The only faster finisher I’ve grown is Oregon Diesel!

Mine were the HSO feminised seed (not clones) version and were one of the latest I harvested no where near even a end of September finisher go figure?

Well. No argument there! I’ve grown worse strains, but Black DOG hasn’t been on my list since! Mine weren’t fluffy, I just didn’t have too many people who liked it!
The HSO Blue Dream has been a winner for me, But was a early October finisher. 8 weeks in my light dep.. nice big fat buds and solid!

How can you accurately give an outdoor budding time suggestion to a member asking for an early sept strain when "you're" using using light Dep to get you results?

My first year growing I ran ILGM's Fem White Widow outdoors. All 6 finished early October. Turned out awesome. Kept them in 10 gallon pots so I could move them inside toward the end of flower when we got heavy rain. Was a lot of work but it was worth it.

After last years massacre for us outdoor NE growers around harvest, I am doing 2 runs of autos and 1 full season fun of fems. All in pots. I am done putting stuff in the ground. Too much work for that much heartbreak. Haha

Because I grow outdoors, in a greenhouse and have a 16x26 foot light dep hoop house inside my greenhouse!
I grow my early finishers like Oregon Diesel, Mango OD, Northern Lights, and one year Black DOG outdoors.
Later finishers are in my Greenhouse.

Dude.. I wasn’t being critical of you or anyone else, just sharing my growing experiences with someone who asked a question and I’ve got 12 years of growing on a pretty decent scale under my belt!

Newbie to these forums here. I'm in MA. I grew C99XBluberry fast and White Widow fast from Seedsman (started indoors and moved out). Both finished in September. Very happy with results. I was going to purchase seeds from Seedsman again this year but they are no longer accepting Visa :(. Any suggestions on other places to purchase seeds?

DC Seed Exchange, Southern Oregon Seeds and Hella Dank are USA domestic and relatively quick on the deliver. I've heard good things about James Bean too, just no personal experience.

Hemp Depot will take a bit longer (they're in Canada) but they have decent outdoor selection and have been doing a great job for years. Good luck.

Luckily ik an old timer..... he gave me a pile of seeds !! Over 100... he said alot of them had pink hairs and finished mid/September.

The problem is he he is an oldddd time grower... put it in some dirt and hope it grows type of guy lol. But he always has good bud... i put 30 in moist paper towel little bit ago. I'll see what happens!
Sounds like its got some afghan roots, did you use a diluted h2o2 solution to clean the seeds if they were old. There is stuff on here about cleansing old seeds. What is your latitude. I have had success with kish @ 41°
She's a pure indica. Its from Cash Crop Ken at Vancouver Seed Bank. Its not to be confused with the original Spice of Life Shishkaberry but it is still respectable. Excellent Mold resistance.

You realize HUMBOLDT SEED ORGANIZATION (HSO) IS FROM ACROSS THE POND ? they use american breeder beans and make it sound like they are right there in humboldt.... ive grown there black dog it took forever at 43⁰ if you want actual humboldt seeds you gotta look for actual Californian breeders (Humboldt Seed Company ) See the difference ?

I recently purchased from seedsman and I paid right from the banking app on my phone, took 1 minute to transfer funds.
