Frisian Dew. That’s a plant I looked at probably 5 years ago for a grow that wasn’t going to be tended often. It was a toss up between that, purple Maroc and easy sativa..both from Female Seeds. Heard all three do great northeast and very hardy. The only thing that kept me from pulling the trigger was mixed reviews on potency. Ended up just throwing some bag seed out and only got 3;of 7 to finish up decently. Should have tried the Frisian or the easy sativa
Well I don't smoke often so it's potent enough for me. My neighbor smokes all the time and he loves it. But I'm sure it's not super strong. I did get green and dark phenotypes... I let the purple one go too long and it ended up getting bud rot. But the green one that finished first week of September was very nice. I should have harvested the purple one sooner.

I have had good luck with frisian dew finishing anywhere from first week of September till the end of September. Pineapple chunk didn't finish for me until some time in November. Frisian Dew yields good but I don't have much to compare it to. I really want to try Mandala #1 outdoors once
Thank you ! I actually have frisian dew by dutch passion in my cart as we speak. Was going to order those and some sweet seeds fast versions like
Killer kush f1 fast version
Crystal candy f1 fast version
Red mandarine f1 fast version

I am also going to run a plot of autos this year probably around 15 or so in the ground. Figured if i get 2 oz each as a low ball ill be alright.... enough meds to last all year if my photoperiod strains dont turn out.... they turn out okay... last year the bud rot got to them bad !! The only one that didnt habe bud rot was the banana og and thats cause it didnt fully flower till late late october... i went snowboarding while it was drying lol...

I grew green poison fast version once. I think that might be a sweet seeds strain. It didn't do too well but I think it was just in a bad location and partly shaded... In the spring it got lots of light but by end of summer it was a different story. Good luck to ya. Post some pics.

I grew a green poison fem last year not the fast version. And it did really well up until it rained for 3 days straight... then the big dense bud were ruined soon after

I'm new to growing so I just went and bought the cheapest priced seeds I could find and for outdoors I got Badazz OG Cheese from seedsman. I'm growing indoors so planned to start it inside then move outside, I just dont know when to start it, i'm afraid of moving it outside too early then it starts to flower.

So with my own personal experiences i have started seeds outdoors may 1st and did not have any early flowering. Now seedlings dont start flowering until there atleast 2 weeks old... so even if you planted may 1st outdoors in a small greenhouse you would be perfectly fine...

Though you say your starting indoors which is what i do every year! I start my plants between March and april and veg until mid may indoors. By waiting till mid/late may to put indoor plants outdoors you can be sure they wont flower...

Now with that said last year i started a bunch of plants indoors and may 10th i transplanted into a 30 gallon fabric pot. The node spacing was a bit more than i would have liked but once it hit wsmrer weather the stretching stopped and the bitches really bushed out.

If you have any question dont hesitate to ask... if i cant answer ik there are a bunch of people on here that could literally answer every dam question in the book...

BTW YOU REALLY SHOULDN'T GO OFF OF THE BREEDER FLOWERING TIMES... for example i hsd 3 banana og seeds from royal queen seeds... they state a mid september finish... all 3 banana plants didnt finish till late October... they all had frosty nights and lived to see another day.

I've noticed that a lot reading reviews where the plants took longer than what the breeder claimed. I'm lucky and have made space for a small seedling/veg closet with T12 lighting and then a 3' x 6' closet with 400w hid for flowering so I can start them anytime indoors.

Does outdoor lighting have any effect on growing, mainly with flowering? The plants will be outside on my back deck and during summer i'm out there every night and the spot light is usually on.

You might want to look in to autoflowers if you are going to be exposing them to lights during their dark period.

Yes you are 100% correct! Run autos if your going to leave them on your deck. Autoflower plants automatically flower based on age not the amount of darkness a plant receives.

I would look into fast buds mephisto genetics or dutch passion. Cant go wrong with any of those autos.
For instance i currently have 10 autos ( fast buds cream cookies , gg4, blackberry og , green crack ... then i have dutch passion critical orange punch ( DO NOT BUY ) 5/7 beans didnt germ i use the paper towel method and i have been getting dam near 100% germ rate with maybe 2-3 not germing in the past year... until i ran the critical orange punch lol. Now im up to like 8...

I happen to have a few Lemon Auto seeds, breeder claims they finish in 2.5 months but the reviews mostly say 3 months. My deck is about 7' x 16' and with the motion light and little solar deck lights it's not 100% dark.

Check into Bodhi seeds - the 88G13/HP crosses. I have a blueberry hashplant keeper that finishes under 8 weeks inside, and no signs of botrytis... all of the 88G13/HP leaners have this trait

Add Black Dog to that list! Super early finisher

Southern Oregon Seeds. Northern Lights or Lemon OG

You want a real early strain that isn't auto go with Honey Cream Fast from Royal Queen seeds.Earliest flowering one I seen in a while with great trichome production, but not a huge bush of a plant so not a huge producer.Christmas tree style and very fast flowering on top of the early start of budding.
