How do you like the light in there? Happy? Seems to be doing the job. Tents are limiting at times. Especially if you can't get to all sides easily.
I like the light, great features and the best warranty out there at the moment (5yr full replacement)it’s the vertical space that’s killing me,as it’s only 5’ high, and I have only one cultivar that doesn’t stretch too much, once flipped.

Best warranty for sure, as long as they're around to fulfil it. Best I've heard of other than that is 3 years.
Funny how this light stuff seems to change every 6 months as far as advancements seem imo. I don't follow lighting too much but everytime I do I see new light's I've never seen yet.
WE are all paying TOO much for LED's imo.

I love my 8x8. Why don't you like your 4x4?
It’s such a pain to do anything to the plants, like lollypoping or defoliating, hell even watering. If I had a bigger tent like yours I could walk right in and around the plants.

I’ve got a 3x3 tent I use for veg then I tiny little propagation 2x2 tent I use for seedlings and clones. Unfortunately the room I have my tents in has a bulkhead going across my ceiling so I’ve got limited space where the ceiling is over 7 feet.

Your right on access....sucks. Unless you can get around to all sides. The bigger the better for sure. I couldn't go back.

I prefer 2 tents that are 2 x 4 than my 4 x 4. Training plants in a 4 x 4 is hard when you are giant and have to reach 4 feet to do stuff.

2 tents that are 2 x 4 give you more options for strains and staggering growth (4 or 6 weeks apart) And you have a dryer always ready.
I love my tents. I am running 2 that are smaller and it is easy to get stuff adjusted (top/super crop lst etc)

But i would fire up the 4 x 4 if i had a spot for it. I will use that for landrace sativas (2 of them) and then just grow everything else in the 2 smaller ones. I love the options. and i have lights for 4 tents so the future may end up with a 2 x 4 to go with my other 3. 1 plant in each sounds like winning in a 4 plant limit :D

All of this being said i still REALLY like that secret jardin lodge tent that is 9 x 4 x 6 1/2 feet. Seperate veg part within the tent....very nice.

Growing indoors......its in tents....

I lucked out years ago and got a secret jardin 4X8 from valley indoor for the same price as a 4X4. Lots of room to move around but I still need to pull plants from the back to get to them even at my height. Cant use the doors on the rear due to where my tent fits.
Mine was tucked away so i could only zip open the front. It worked out fantastic but i just mean its easier to have a giant tent and room to move or smaller tents.

And the two tents use 1 scrubber fan and each has a carbon filter. I hooked it up with a T duct into the fan and use a veriac to control speed for temp purposes. It is a bit more efficient than 2 fans :D

I used to grow in a BCNL Producer (automated growbox) so to me this 8x8 is the cat's meow.
Do you have an Instagram account that I can follow?

Anyone with any experience switching over to LED from HPS mid flower?
I just got two new LED fixtures and will be deleting 2 Gavita's. Wonder how the girls under the new LED's will react? There will still be plenty of HPS light as I'm only replacing 2 so far. Just wondering if this will fuck up the girls directly under the LED light.
The only LED's that I've seen that out did or did just as good as Gravitas is the Fluence Spyder and that was at $2300 each panel. So for these guys upgrading 200 lights was a no brainer $565 for Gavita or $2300 for each Spyder. That was a pretty good Gavita sale. A 750-1000W (proper wattage) panel should not be that expensive anymore, for some reason LED manufacturers want to live in boutique price land.

A buddy of mine made a 4ft diameter lazy susan out of a peice of plywood and a swivel bearing from a old bar stool with a couple swivel casters along the outside edges works great.

Ya the price difference is stupid. You get a lot of light/functionality with the Gavita's HPS that's for sure. Plus the controller option is the ticket imo. I love that thing. It does timer function...heat watch....ramp up and down.....high heat shut off....dimming....soft start.....very nice unit. Controls dozens to hundreds of lights.
Gavita has their new LEDS out now...hehehe. All works and integrates in with the controller and HPS at the same time.

Glad I steered you towards gavita? If I were to revamp my rooms I’d go 315w but I don’t see that happening

I want their LEDS supplemented with my HPS's I have. To me that would be the perfect setup and what i'm going for.

It's the controller functionality that is so nice. I think some other brands are doing it now too. I'm sold on the aspect of all those variables being at your finger tips.

Yeah see we bought gavitas before the China’s started knocking them off for 260$ with the phone line port so you can still use the controller, apparently the China bulbs are just fine too. China controllers from what I’ve seen do the same thing plus more.

Where is a real gavita built?
