Good yield! What strains did you run again?
They may look similar in pic but if you could smell the difference lol.
Top bud is Hash Plant and bottom bud is Green Crack again cuz it did so well last year and definitely didn’t disappoint this year.
I did the Hash Plant for the Flower and the Oil and the Oil is great. I put in capsules and consume like a vitamin everyday. ( Just a grain of rice size in each capsule lol.

The buds are super tight and crazy sticky.
U can just see the trichomes piled on.

For those that make Oil like I then dollar for dollar outdoor done properly is the way to go.

I think the Ontario site sells a 5er of oil for over a 100 bucks I think it cost me 5 cents per 5er. Actually the bottles cost me more Haha

What do you use to make your oil?

It is still pretty cheap. I am pressing rosin when my outdoor gets to 60% RH...at 68% at the moment and still burping. But ISO gets all of it Rosin gets a lot of it and makes great edibles from the pucks :D

Hey does anyone know where and how much it cost to get a few buds tested?
Wouldn’t mind knowing since I have a shit load. Wouldn’t care if I only had a little. If it’s even available to the general public!

I priced around and a single test was around $200 just for potency testing like 6 months ago. Reagents aren't cheap and either is a lab techs time.

https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/list-licensed-dealers.html <-- thats a list authorized to work with cannabis.

Thanks. 200 actually isn’t that bad but like you said I’d probably like a full analysis done and that’s sounding pretty expensive.
I’ll just go with what I say. I say it’s fire and don’t really care to test at outrageous prices.
Again soon enough testing prices will go down just like cannabis prices when the government finally loosens the belt and more labs open for testing.

Unfortunately the lab prices likely won't drop significantly if at all, the reagents are likely the most commonly used analytical reagents because the same techniques are used to analyze pretty much anything, if you want to see what lab standards and reagents run you should check out sigma aldrich's site, you will shit when you see what a gram of some stuff costs.

If you know it is fire fuck testing.

Ya fuck testing at those prices but m very curious to see what the potency is with my garden being fully organic. I’m sure the package the seeds came in are based off chemicals steroids. If that’s how it works. I’m not exactly sure how they come up with potency, I just figured the more chemicals the higher the potency.

From my understanding potency has a max range determined by genetics, the genetics will only allow the chemical process that produces cannabinoids to proceed to a certain point. PGR's will give you denser nuggets but not more potency, certain stress conditions will actually increase potency if applied at the correct times (drought conditions at specific times are a big one for increased production apparently, there is a study somewhere regarding this), I know that there are Cali growers who are cutting water entirely near end of life and letting it die on the vine before cutting and full plant hanging.

I believe that we are going to learn a lot more about the plant through science in Canada over the next few years than the underground figured out in the last 50, hopefully we finally kill off all the broscience involved in growing.

I did that exact thing with not watering almost 1 month before harvest.
I obviously follow Cali growers.
My branches were so dry it was super easy to harvest as each branch literally just snapped. I got pretty much the same yield but I definitely had smaller plants this year, just a few changes like the no water deal and
I also added pulsated Banana to my water during flower for cheap source of potassium. I’m sure some organic growers here use the same kind of juice.

This years crop was a let down...if I bother next year it will be auto's. Anyone got any recommendations?
From what everyone told me when I was looking into auto's, Mephisto anything. They have high potency auto's compared to other companies, often as high as 25% THC, they are a bit pricey though.
