Got the same light as you! I think you could get away with dialing it down to 420, its a strong light. 630 is good for 5 by 6 feet for me. gods green crack looks good, its god bud x green crack I assume?, also why autos indoors ? Also, you thinking blumats or what for irrigation ?
It is Jordan of the Islands cross of God bud and Green Crack, I like it a lot for night time but it makes me far too tired for regular daytime use. I just raise the 630 to the top of the 5x5 when in early veg, I like keeping it full strength to keep the watts/sq.ft as high as possible. I grabbed auto's because I need a quick crop to get my supply up, these will finish in 60-80 days from seed. For irrigation I grabbed a little giant pump, some tubing, drip emitters, and a diy manifold.

If you raise the lights your reducing the strength. If you have a dimmable ballast, you have the better option of turning it down and keeping it closer to lights. get a $20 lux meter and youll see how the intensity changes by hight. Its all about covering your footprint properly, then equal intensity on plants, then max intensity. I like 16-18" from canopy at 420W, and 20-24" at 630. Save money on electricity, and reduce wear on ballast and bulbs, thats my approach at least.

During flower I usually stick to about 18-20" above, I do not like dimming them because it negatively impacts spectrum from what I have read, I would rather raise it to make light less intense for seedlings or drop in my LED for early veg.

I was looking at the girls today and the buds grew too densely together. In order to improve the air flow i selectvely harvested some buds to make room for some of the real big ones to ripen in the sun this week.
This was already more than i got from my deck plant last year and there is way more on the plant. They are dense and heavy and nice to trim. Smells like white rhino.
I will fine trim after a week in the dryer tent. It is running with a veriac on a 4 inch fan with a 20 inch can filter. Zero odor out of the tent. Smells like dank in the tent.dryer.jpg make room buds.jpg
