I love it when folks like you think of quality first. Very smart plan. Figure out what is good and decent....then shop for a price on that item. That's the way I do it. I find the right tool for the job and then the best deal on that tool.
Cheap can bite you in the arseholius area.

Question:
For instance how many consumer grade dehumidifiers does it take to hurt your bum with a stabbing like motion.
Answer:
Too many

How many have you tossed out?
Right before YouTube cracked down on videos of legal grows a few of the bigger guys got some free dehumidifiers from Quest. Nice piece of kit they make. I do research now as Ive learned the hard way by wasting who knows how much money over the years. And with the aforementioned crack down on youtube, product reviews for cannabis related products may be hard to come by

Clearly this convo went way over your head.
Wouldn't be the first time and wont be the last.

I thought someone was saying that expensive cars should basically not be driven. I think cars are meant to be driven, it was what they were built for. I especially like watching extremely expensive cars being driven on public roads how they were meant to be driven. Is it sad when a million dollar car crashes at high speed? Of cause but at least it died doing what it was designed to do.
Its a Car.

But if I'm off track (pardon the pun) ignore and move on.

Growing for yourself and one other ungrateful is time consuming. Running at half the watts and efficient LED same (mid) yield as a HID, less risk of fire etc. I guess I like LED better than HID in the summer months. More cost up front though.

I can already tell this is 3+lbs based on my last 3 runs. Quantum LED 1.1kw - 3lbs..lol imagine what you could do without rewiring! Medicine to last.

To be fair it sounds like you bought a Secret Jardin dark street series, which are more affordable due to thinner material, and cheaper zippers and poles, fittings. Ive had a secret jardin 4X8 and have had zero issues with it. It even kept my crop dry when my basement flooded last year.

I will agree that Gorilla makes a heavier duty product, but the price and lack of doors are a downside. Definitely going to purchase one whenever my 4X8 gives out as the extra height is a big selling point for me.
Is fusion hut a good brand? I ordered one 8'x8'x6 1/2' this weekend from www.growlights.ca

Thanks for the quick response, I ordered a 1680D because I had a feeling it would be strong
Np at all.
Ya i go for strenght in a tent. Friends purchased an La Garden tent. They ripped it putting it together. Pure garbage.

I have a Mars Hydro 2x4 tent I'm just about to set up. It's going on it's side so it will be a 2x6 tent but only 4 feet tall. It will go on a desk and be my veg tent. I'll post a review.
Just have to build my light first but my strips arrived today
Cheers
