2016 The Movie

What if the movie only told the truth from irrefutable facts, are you afraid of knowing the truth?

If the movie only told the truth from irrefutable facts then I would be missing out. I would lament my not having been exposed to this truth but you see, I believe that the truth should be free and being that I refuse to pay for truth, I will be just a bit less informed. If this movie is in the public interest of dispensing valuable truth, I would hope that we soon see it in other venues.

Do you suppose this movie casts OBama in a poor light?

No one at this keyboard called you a racist or a bigot. Strange that you would opt to claim that because I am not like you, because I don't believe as you do, I must hate America - even though the concept of America has something to do with varied opinions.

do you wish for God to bless America to the exclusion of everyone else?
So let me get this, Obama comes out with a stolen GOP plan that is risky on such a large scale and there is no take backs and he is saving the US. GOP makes the same plan but in a smaller scale (with a way out if it doesn't work) and they are destroying the fabric of humanity? I see

I'm sorry Beenthere, I didn't see that you had put your own words in my quote.

"are those vouchers voluntary" - I believe Romney claims that one could stay with medicare and not receive vouchers. So, unless the choice is permanent, I would take the vouchers until the price of the best care I could get matched the value of the voucher - then I would go back to medicare. I believe that everyone who doesn't have enough money to fill in the gap would do the same.

I don't know what the purpose of the ad was, except to demonstrate that a guy was the subject of hardship due to Bain's practices.

(like that answer Beenthere? that is the sort of answer I have gotten from you re statements made by republicans about OH and PA voting periods - rather unpalatable is it not?)

Yes, of course the add was intended to have people believe, without saying it, that the woman died as a result of lack of health insurance - it was not a very savory approach.

Will I admit Obama might have got into college...." I will have to admit that Beenthere, because of the word "might", he might be an alien from the planet Baccor as well. The point here is that it has been established to all but the nut cases, that Obama is a U.S. citizen and eligable to run for President, if for no other reason than the fact that he has already BEEN president.

"let's see a few" -

Obama has increased spending.
"Since President Obama assumed office three years ago, federal spending has accelerated at a pace without precedent in recent history"

Obama has raised taxes.
"He has already raised taxes on millions of Americans, but he won't stop there. He wants to raise taxes on millions more by taxing small businesses and job creators."

The Affordable Care Act cuts Medicare by $716 billion.
"There's only one president that I know of in history that robbed Medicare, $716 billion to pay for a new risky program of his own that we call Obamacare."

President Obama plans to gut welfare reform.
"Under Obama's plan, you wouldn't have to work and wouldn't have to train for a job. They just send you your welfare check"

Beenthere, these are all outright lies from the Republican party, they aren't half truths, they aren't inuendo they are complete fabrications. How about you show me an equal number of lies eminating from the Obama campaign? Lies, now, not opinion, not supposition, even the "Romeny killed a woman" was not a lie, as it was never stated. The "Romney is a felon" is not a lie, we simply don't know if he is or not.

And note please Beenthere, that I gave you what you requested, I try to do that as often as possible, can I count upon you to do the same?

If someone wants to send me the money, or the tickets - I don't think it would be proper to ask an Obama hater to send me a bootleg copy of the movie, I would surely watch it.

Robbed 716 billion from medicare? - mostly false

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2012/aug/15/mitt-romney/mitt-romney-said-barack-obama-first-history-rob-me/

Ryan's plan takes $700 from medicare? - true

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2012/aug/15/stephanie-cutter/ryans-plan-includes-700-billion-medicare-cuts-says/

Politifact claims however that Ryan's plan will not "destroy" medicare. This is their conjecture and cannot be a statement of fact, I believe it will destroy medicare, and of course the defintion is different. vouchers are not "medicare as we know it".
What kind of spending reductions are we talking about? They were mainly aimed at insurance companies and hospitals, not beneficiaries.
What the above quote means is that Obama intends to pay insurance companies and hospitals less to take care of people on Medicare. It is definitely taking 700 billion out of the medicare system.

They claim it is reduced waste and fraud but I havent seen any reduction in fraud or waste since medicare has been implemented.

A well thought out plan can not be achieved in a system or "industry" when you think/believe it's ok to charge $12 for an Aspirin.
The industry need to be cleaned up first.

What needs to happen is deregulation of the industry with current medical standards to allow competition to push the price of treatments and services down to a managable level for 1st person payments.

Insurance should be for major medical issues.

If doctors could group together and offer direct medical plans to their patients outside of insurance it would help cut costs drastically.

If people knew how much money doctors had to spend on staff and insurance to keep their offices running they would realize how fucked up the government has made the medical field.

I have a problem - I certainly want to see it but I will not give my money to something that seems at first blush to be another swiftboat attack.
Odd how how his commanding officer, doctor, and the men he was stationed with all said, well, basically he's a piece of shit, and the libs claim it was all a lie.

Remember about 30 years ago when there was a big wupty over junkies looking for rigs in landfills?
Well now we have a billon dollar "BIO WASTE" industry because some lazy ass didn't bury the needles deep enough.

Ahem... Ryan DOES want to kill medicare. Simple as that. Their dancing around it with "we won't do anything to you old folks (so you can safely vote for us) but we will voucherize the thing for your children. That is "killing medicare" No one said Romney killed a woman - that was your fake righteously indignant rightist talking heads that said that. Romney might be a felon? could be, you never know, unless of course you could see his tax returns. There is a big raft of difference between the half truths the Dems produce and the outright lies the Repubs produce. I have no idea what is in this movie, but I can surmise from the post I responded to that it doesn't put Obama in a very good light.
"Half truths and outright lies"? A "half truth" is just a trait of a skillful liar. You lack objectivity.

Nonthiest - take a good look at the myth debunking sites or any non-partisan site and they will all tell you that Obama's 716 does not come out of senior pockets nor does it reduce their care. Note also that Ryan intends to remove about the same amount of money, but that money DOES come out of seniors wallets.
I don't see how you can possibly believe that. I think perhaps you cruise the left wing web sites, and being a left wing ideologue, think they are nonpartisan.

So Obamacare doesn't defund Medicare? It just reduces the amount of healthcare it will pay for. Thanks for clearing that up for us.

A few things. You mention long term nursing and children but you forget that the disabled are cut adrift with a plan that cuts medicaid. "eisenhower spent more money on stiumlus..." I do not believe that is correct, Obama's stimulus package is the larges in adjusted dollars of any like program, I believe it is the single costliest legislation in our history. I am reading "the new new deal" and it is revealing how broad this bill is. what I am coming to see is that it is a true revitalization of our entire country, something that Obama promised. IT seems that is often the case, the media has given it a bad name while not investigating it at all. If you are interested check out Recovery.gov.
If it has truly revitalized our entire country, then we must have missed it. I'm sure not seeing it.

Canndo doesn't hate America. He's just a misinformed ideologue. Can't recall Canndo being a race baiter either. Feel free to provide examples if you have them.

The difference is that his speculation if inaccurate will cost us the insitution of medicare.
And wouldn't that be fucking fantastic? I can't think of anything better, unless we defunded and eliminated social security and welfare as well. A return to the intended level of government intrusion in every aspect of our lives and the absence of all the progressive horseshit they have instituted, that they never had the right to do in the first place. Yeah, then we MIGHT actually have a chance of turning this economy and country around.

all we need to do to make america great is to make her citizens suffer.
