i dont think we even broke 100 last year. this year looking just as mild. we did break rainfall records in the past year

now 09 was killer, broke several records.. hot and dry as fuck

i was in austin the summer of 2011 and it was 110 i think every day from june to july. it was fucking miserable.

CO2 Mauna Loa about 400ppm
No change in CO2 increase, "despite all efforts." Just corporate games that hurt the poor.
30 yrs to change energy infrastructure, if it was a global priority. 470ppm CO2 very likely in 2046. Plus the CO2 equivalent gasses, over 500ppm total.
Way too late. Past the tipping point. Hope I live long enough to see water pouring off the Greenland ice sheet like Niagara Falls for 1000km. Time to move to higher ground. Ooooops, too crowded, nowhere to go.
Nothing is sustainable with 7B people and current tech. 500M to 1B people for sustainable.
Sometimes reality sucks. But politicians have a history of ignoring reality.

S Ontario is now 2 C warmer than the 100 yr average.
And the Arctic is 5 to 8 C warmer.

all of that info is extremely relative to the fact we have no ideas what those same metrics were 1000 years ago. that is where the whole "man-made climate change" argument falls apart. quite literally. i mean hell, gore, the poster child of man-made climate change said the polar ice caps would be non-existent in what....2013? and they've actually grown.
