If they have not had any nutes yet then they do need them now. Leaves going yellow starting at or very near to the bottom is a classic sign of low nitrogen. Just look at the photo's in the problem chart. If you are worried just give them half the recomened dose to start and leave them for at least a few days to see how they are befor you rush into doing something else. But i'm sure it is your nute problem. Or lack there of.

I would say Just follow there chart for the nutes. http://www.foxfarmfertilizer.com/soilfeed.pdf
But if you are in a problem I would suggest a fairly even ratio of N-P-K to start. I would do week 3 mix with no worries.. Don't worry that it is not the flower mix, You need everything right now. Do you have a hydro store near you?? They also have stuff for soil. I would also recomend Fox farm Ocean Forest soil when you repot. This is a three pack, store should have it this way also. Better price than buying seperate.

But if you can get it local I would be doing that tomorrow (or today if you can) To late for me here.

Hello, Looks like they need some nutes bad!! What are you using to fertilize?? It's kinda hard to see very good with the HPS on, to much yellow from the light. If you could turn them off and use some better color lighting (more blue) it would make a big difference in being able to see what the problem might be. Check out this site for really good photo's of problems. And a very good descripition of what the nutes do.

The soil might seem pricey but what you save on nutes in the begining makes up for it. The nutes it has is great for starting. All the plants that I have started in it have looked great. Here's a couple when they were babies. When starting from seed I did'nt give them anything for the first 3-4 weeks but water. Is your water from a well or public?

If you are using top soil it does have nutes in it. Even if you dig it up from your yard. But store bought soil might not have any N-P-K rating on it, but trust me it does we just don't know what it is

so i can just grap so miracle grow plant food the blue shiit and go half strength to fix this now correct?
The "blue shit" is good if you have some now. But if you are going to buy it get the "red shit" that is the one for tomatoes. Like I said it has a fairly even N-P-K mix. If you want to play it safe (I hear you there and don't blame you start with 1/2 . I would also maybe give them a foilar spray with it also. Just read the directions.
