Other places carry econolight 150's for the same $20 range... I don't have links but they do.

Must have been too much hassle with a million stoners buying one light at a time. And I bet they weren't at all prepared to handle the slickdeals post I did.

Sorry guys... Do a search, I'm sure you'll find them elsewhere.

No problem.

I can't find any at other sites either, just looked. Not under econolights part number anyway.

I doubt they actually discontinued them though and it certainly isn't just me pushing them out there, they've been on other pot forums way longer than I had them here or slickdeals. Maybe nobody pushed them as fast and hard as I did though, with all the time I've had on my hands lately.

I bet we see them come back actually, but I'll call tomorrow and find out because I was looking at ordering two more anyway.

lowes has 150w hps street ligts for 25
I've been to 2 different Lowe's and a Home Depot and none of them have a HPS of any sort for under 50$, but the best prices i've found locally are 70w's for 60$ and 150w's for 115$, both at HD. They have 150w bulbs for roughly that price though...

Yea, those are still there. Missed the ops questions too I guess though I thought for sure I answered them.

Yes I've seen some pics of people with the $25 one, it's the same really as the first just very minor differences.

fdd I think or someone just posted how to remote ballast them. Search "remote ballast" in subject line, same...

Extra one? No, I need two more now myself. I'll see what they say tomorrow.

You're not going to have any trouble remote mounting the ballast on the ceiling mount. The important part is that all the parts are there- ballast, ignitor, capacitor, lamp holder- you can extend the wires to the lamp holder and add an extension cord for the power supply.

ok, i bought the in ceiling ($37 shipped) but this really sucks,

ok, im running 6 26w cfls in a SMALL SPACE i have had great returns of this cheap investment already, the boxes are 2d x 3w x 3H. last harvest was 24" tall, 1.1 o's per. the CFLS take up the top 7 inches of the box, so with the plant, pot size im right there for height. heres the 2nd catch

I NEED HEAT! (40 degrees outside of box- i have a heat duct i turn on from the veg cab thats 24/0 to help heat when lights off im in the upper 50's veg is @ 70's) but this 14 1/2 inch L & 7 1/2 round light will be on the tops of my plants, so i was gonna remote the socket, save a few inches and actually gain a few inches to make up for the bulky cfl setup.

will just the 150w bulb create as much or less heat than 6 26w cfls? i have inline fans and ways to cool, i need space and heat, i would preffer to remote the ballast, just trying to get an idea how hot just the bulb was

you need heat ? so did I ... Right now those little portable heaters that you plug into the wall and have a built in thermostat they are on sale everywhere, I got a small coleman for 20$ set it on medium by my intake and it keeps er at a steady 70 degrees....

Well I was sick as a dog yesterday and today. Didn't call them or do a thing. Spent most of the last 12 hours in the tub with a fever just trying to stop shivering.

kingb If you need heat with the ambient temp that low you'll probably need the balllast in the box. You'll just have to test it.
