Day 75

So I woke up today, walked outside, had a bowl and checked on the plants and was pleasantly surprised! :hump:

I'm totally new at this and this is my first grow but I think flowering has already started, and atleast 5 of the 6 plants look to be female! I snapped some more pics, tried to get some close ups for any other growers who might be able to give me a confirmation!

This would be the shit if that's what happened! lmao! Tiger Bloom expected to be here Tuesday!! Everything seems to be going according to plan..

The last three pics are the cleanest ones I think.

Oh yeah, check out that sick ass dragonfly!

looks good man but they should be bigger... looks like you are overwatering and maybe over or under feeding. Let the pots dry out so they are like 1/2 the weight as they are after a watering or less until u water again

Great job man, im currently growing clones from the clinic and im having a similiar problem with the yellowing of the leaf tips as well. I think its either from the sun, or chlorine from tap water, or possibly nitrogen/iron deficiency.

I am STOKED! 6 of 6 ALL FEMALE!

WTF are the odds of that happening!?

Though one is tiny, still... that doesn't matter.

I figure the yellowing of the leaves isn't going to cause too much damage. Someone earlier in the thread said it may be a potassium deficiency too, so that might be it.

All I've given them is H2O and the soil they were planted in, no nutrients so far, which might also be a size factor. I plan on starting the flowering nutrient routine this week or next week, so we'll see if that improves the leaves at all, I believe there's NP&K in the Tiger Bloom, so it should add something to it if that's the problem..

None the less, fuckin' stoked about the plants, I can barely contain my excitement for another 2 months!

looks good dude im growing some bagseed too i had 6 main plants and only had 1 male i need to go check the other that i wasnt sure about but i know the other 4 are fems. idk if u said what seeds they were but i got mine out of some compressed midgrade that had like 100+ seeds in an O but was smokeable after u picked all the shit out... anyways mine look like they are very similiar to yours, especially when they were like a month old And yea, they will TAKE OFF with some good fertilizing... mine were slow as hell the first 6 weeks or so bc everyone was sayin all this shit about dont fertilize much less is more but i find thats not true atleast with mine, you just gotta gradually increase.

Start with like 1/4 strength. idk how often you are watering but id wait like a week or close too it and if they show no signs of stress or burn go 1/2 strength, alternate with plain water for a week (if ur watering once a week then id prolly just hit them with 1/2 strenth and not worry about the plain water) Id go with plain water the next fert, then 1/2 again, then plain, then full strength if theres no burn.

RIght now i'm giving mine full strength (1tbs) BMO flower power which is like 0-9-7 or smoethin paired with BMO super plant tonic and molasses in a very hot soil... when using the spt ur supposed to like cut ferts in half bc it increases nute absorbtion

Hey BG, thanks for the reply.

The plants are about a foot and a half, the tallest one is, the other ones are just about a foot, give or take a few inches..

Just recieved the Tiger Bloom today, went by the directions on the label, 2 teaspoons/gallon. Hopefully that's not too much, after reading the last post, I realized it may be if that is correct information! So it might be a bit strong for the first dose... shouldn't be too bad though, It looked like a tiny dose, I used one gallon of water, two teaspoons of Tiger Bloom and watered all six plants, the gallon was empty at the end.

I've been watering them about every other day, depending on how dry they look.

Snapped some shots of the tops, too bad these things arent HD on the website, they look awesome!

Day 84 (15 days flowering)

Here's some more pics of the plants.

The leaves towards the bottom yellow and wilt then eventually fall off, like I said before it's not that big of a deal, though if anyone could let me know if that looks normal or if there's some deficiency that would be great help for future grows! Like I said before, nothing added except H20, and now some light amounts of Tiger Bloom in the beginning stages of flowering..

Thanks again for checking it out, all comments welcome. :weed:

Still tripping on all females!!

The plants look fine nice coulour not too light.Transplant has soon has the plant has it's true leaves on normaly means it will be hard enouth to take the transplant burrow some of the stem and get the lights has close has possible without burning the leaves this will mean that you won't have leggy plants.Check the ph of the water before adding any nutrients this will tell you if the water is hard or soft. Then put the plants on some nutrents don't over do it there only young but i would give them a small ammount of nutrients this will help get them growing.Keep the lights close 6 ince water once a week but when you do wet the plant through this will give you a far better root system than someone who waters every day or other day.If you do these things there is no reason why you should not grow a good set of plants.I would continue useing the lights that you are useing now but i would try to get hold of a good exaust fan and a hps light this will increase your yeild by 1000.

They Tyke, thanks for the reply man!

I've been growing the plants outside since they sprouted, no lights needed!

Though that could have contributed to their small stature.. One is even less than a foot tall, I can already tell she's not going to produce very much, buuut no big deal, there's 5 others that should be decent enough..

I'm going out and getting a pH meter asap, probably a little late in the game... but better late than never right?

A buddy of mine who grows said the plants double in size through the flowering, so that should make up a bit of difference.

Day 89 (20 days flowering)

Just about to start the fourth week of flowering. All the plants are looking pretty good. I wonder how big the buds are going to get...

Steady watering schedule, every two or three days, 2 teaspoons of Tiger Bloom/gallon, the plants seem to like it so far.

One of them has taken off in height, about 5 or 6 inches taller than the rest, I think that one is probably going to yield the most, but there's also one short bushy lady that looks like she's gonna yield a good amount too!

So about two more months to go eh!

And here's some random flowers that I'm growing too..

Day 98 (29 days flowering)

Getting dank, starting to smell and fill out.

The buds are looking great, slowly progressing, but they're gettin there..

Just about 1-2 months to go till the final smoke, getting pretty exciting!

Though, I did find some bugs on one of the leaves, I took care of as many of them as I could, they seemed to only be on one of the plants, in one small area, I have no idea what they are, I'm guessing spider mites, but they're dumb as hell and easy as fuck to kill, I hope I got them all. Anybody know any good organic spray to help take care of that problem if they show up again? Pic included..

Steady watering schedule, once every 2 or 3 days... Tiger Bloom each time, no signs of burning or anything so far.

Neem Oil works but it doesn't kill.
It hinders the insects ability to mature and protects from further infestation.
I use Einstein's Leaf Shine.

Day 110 (41 days flowering)

OK, another update.

The plants are doing great, bulking up quite well this past week!

Right now it's in between the 6th and 7th week of flowering, I'm getting increasingly more excited as the weeks pass!

Been using the Tiger Bloom the whole time, no signs of nute burn or anything so far, the plants seem to like it.

I havn't been able to get many pics lately because my camera has been screwing up, but I'll work on that and post some more, but for now I'll leave you with 4 I snapped today.

I'm itching to know the yeild that I'm gonna get! From what I can tell, though it's my first grow, each cola looks like it's got a 1/4 oz already and they smell just GREAT!

OH YEAH! No more of those little black motherfuckers crawling around, but on my smallest plant I had some sort of catapillar infestation or something, my sister said she removed 3 from that plant, then I found one myself... that was about a week ago, havn't seen them since, they didn't do much damage to the plant, just a leaf or two. Has anyone ever seen tiny green catapillars in their weed before?! wtf is that about?

Moth's lay their eggs and caterpillars are born.
I would check for them at least every other day if not everyday.
You look like you've got a few more weeks to go.

Fuck yeah, I'm checkin' that shit everyday!

The 7th week of flowering started today, so I think you're right, a few more weeks to go!

I'm fuckin' stoked! :bigjoint:

Aaaahh man, 4 of my 6 plants have been infected with those little green caterpillars. I removed as many as I could a couple days ago, I havn't seen any since then, I'm checking all the plants daily!

The damage on one of the plants is mild, I removed about an 1/8 of bud and leaves that had died from the bastards chewing it up. Another one was a little better, but also mild. The last two are minor, only removed a small part of a nug or two.

Seriously, there's only like 3 weeks to go, this is the worst thing that could happen!

My tallest plant and one of my dankest looking ones are still caterpillar free though!

I ordered some Fox Farm spray to give the bastards the plague! That should be here in a couple days!

I've been trying to get some pics up, but my camera is fucked up for some reason... I'm working on it..

They're looking pretty nice... I know from reading numerous other posts, that caterpillars are somewhat common when growing outside.. Keep checking daily, as many times a day as you can, especially until you get the spray..

Yes sir, pretty common in SoCal. I checked up on about 3 or 4 other grow journals and they were having the same problem.. Too bad I didn't know about this a little sooner eh!

I'm checkin' em every chance I get!

Thanks for the reply, 3 weeks left!

Day 121 (52 days flowering)

I harvested two of the plants today, they looked just about ready. I'm looking for the head high and I hear harvesting on the early side should do the trick. The bud looks great!

Plant #1 came out to 26.6 grams wet

Plant #2 came out to 46 grams wet!

Total so far wet weight = 2.5 oz

Anyone have any ideas on what the dry weight might look like for these two plants?
