2 teaspoons/gallon Dyna-Gro bloom to reach 650PPM

Hey guys, so I am having an issue with my DG bloom. It's a new bottle, I can't hear/feel any solids when I shake it, and I'm having to add crazy amounts to reach 800PPM (My water is base 150-180 to start).
Soil, FFOF w/ added perlite.

So the issue is, some of the plants are showing nitrogen deficiencies. I've already flushed three of them and I'm just going to observe them. In the mean time, I want to rule out nutrient lockout, but I gotta wait on those plants and see how they act next time they get water and a light feed.

Obviously, there's something wrong with the nutrient solution. All I can read are PPMs, but I am worried at 2 teaspoons / gallon (suggested is 1/2 to 1) that I am feeding my plants a lot of P and K and very little N. Would it be worth picking up a bag of 10-10-10 or something and see how the plants respond?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/input.

Nutrient lockout? Nitrogen deficiency so you flushed? Have you grown cannabis before?
I fed those plants at 1200ppm a week before flushing. Even used a bit of grow formula. Didn't stop the nitrogen deficiency. So uhh. Yeah. I flushed 3 out of of 28. Did you come here to assist or talk trash? It's not clear, but the question is regarding 2 teaspoons per gallon. Something like 5 times what other ppl require for same PPM.

You think you have N deficiency so you flush? Makes no sense to me. N is rarely locked out no matter what is going on. I don't even think you can lockout N.

2 tsp/gal is 10ml/gal or a weak sol'n at 2.5ml/L I wouldn't expect it to be higher than 500ppm.

If anything is off it's likely your water. Do you know what makes up that 150-180ppm that is in your water or flying blind? Call your supplier and get a copy of their water analysis. I use RO only so never have to consider what may be in the water I give my girls.

Sometimes solids in a nute bottle can make a solid layer on the bottom so pour it into a clean jar or something and have a look.

Totally valid questions yet to be answered with other than attitude. OP needs to watch out for the door imo. ;)

He came into my thread being a smart ass. I shut him down. End of story. I have obviously grown cannabis before. The grow in question is in my signature. The guy has 13000 posts and I know he knows better.

I thought that too about the N, and let me correct a mistake: it takes 4 teaspoons, or 20mL, to reach those numbers. Sorry, I got my conversions mixed up.
That's a good idea about the solid layer on the bottom. Maybe Ill try crushing the bottom a little bit to see if indeed there is some crystalline buildup there. I have read the analysis and have also called, as the analysis is hard for a laymen to read. But the guy they put me in touch with (the staffers) literally would not answer my questions, said it depends on the pipes in my house, etc. I'm just going to switch to a dry formula. I've read great things about Mega Crop. I love DG, but I wish it came dry.
Thanks for your time

Shut me down? Fuck off, worm. You're so damned smart why are you here? Dipshit.

I'm not the dumb fuck flying blind like you obviously are. A little of this, too much of that. Time to flush. Amateur .
You don't know shit about me or my grow. I didn't flush them because of the nitrogen deficiency, I flushed them because I have been experimenting with watering 3-4oz a day, and no allowing any run off, and I wanted to see if removing a y salt buildup from that would improve their growth.
It's not that frustrating, man! I grew up on seeded bud, and this will be a lot more high quality than that. As you know, each grow builds on the last. So, I'm super stoked to have the opportunity to experiment with my plants (for example, I just flushed 3 of them, and gonna watch their progress) cause I won't be too sad if I kill a few. I already killed 10, trimmed them, they're still drying in a separate area, but it smokes. Got me toasted last night.
This entire grow was an experiment from the outset, cause we learn from experience. Flushing 3 plants out of ~28 is an experiment. Flushing all 28, that would have been flying blind. By the way, go fuck yourself.

Not to take sides, but hot rods right, and flushing should ONLY be done as a last resort, way too many people jump to that like it's a hail mary, it is not good for the plants, run off is however good for your plants. It allows salts built up in your soil to wash out, around 20% run off, then drain. Good luck with your "experiment "op.

I use DG too but I don't use Bloom alone during flower. I also use the exact amount of Foliage Pro as Bloom during flower to offset the low nitro content in the Bloom. Give it a shot it may help. Stop the FP 2 weeks before finish.

I use 1 teaspoon per gallon of FP and 1 teaspoon pg of Bloom mixed with 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of Protekt and I get between 500 and 550 ppm. Some plants want a lot more during transition so it depends.

Thanks for the positive input! I picked up some generic 12-4-8 that I'm going to supplement with the DG. That analysis is a little higher than the FP, but should work fine. I ordered a PPM meter for the first time about a month ago. Had never used one before. Turns out, according to DG, you should get about 100PPM/mL/gallon with bloom, and I was only getting 30PPM / mL / gallon with Bloom. Looks like I know how to read my plants just fine :D I knew something was off with that batch. Have to admit, didn't expect it to be THAT diluted though. I think next time around I'm gonna run a comparison of DG and Megacrop. Thanks for stopping in
