I just bought a huge roll of 2 millimeter mylar from my local hydro store and covered my whole bathroom in it. The problem is, no matter how tight the mylar is the fans cause it to move a round a little bit.
Now when I go in it looks like a light show because the light is being reflected off the mylar as it moves. (almost like when you put your watch or a piece of glass to the sun and you can create a beam of light in a shaded area, exactly like this except quite a few beams of light)
Here's what I think, it is good because (knowing mylar can cause hot spots) the beams of light are not directed toward one spot on the plant for a long period of time. With the fan the beams of light created by the mylar do not touch the plants for more than a split second.
But is it stressful to the plant? Having intense beams of light flying at them for short periods of time?
Anyone know? Good or bad?
