1st time main-lining journal......

Cheers lads and papa most seeds on bb are regular and would need space to veg and mainline and few for the chance of all males I will get back on to the bb strains tho just my first mainline and don't wana fuck up its for my Xmas smoke haha

well they now in the new home the tops are 8" away from cooltube temp is 26c max and 18c min but ive just turned the temp on heater so it doesn't drop below about 20c. I have measured the plants and the blue rhino, caramel ice and afghan kush are 5" the jack herer 4" and critical 47 is 6" I will get sum individual shots of them in a day or 2 once they settle in here and I see them growing.... just had there first nutes aswell half strength at 6.5ph

aww i killed my caramel ice @ my 1st main-line attempt lol (snapped it while tieing her down thhen had a temper and pulled her out the pot lol)

Thats to bad. For future reference, you probably could have saved it. Have had many times on outdoor plants that were topped very young split right now the middle of the stem. Little duct tap around the snap, and healed right up!

Yea but I think Slater was pissed off at the time so he jus yanked it lol. We've all done it.

Yo budski Not to long now when they hit 10inches, them bottom branches should be a cloneable size if you so wish (worth doing and practice if only in a cup of water and through them away. Practice makes perfect after all. But at 10inches I would top them wait 3 days take lowest branches etc.

Did you settle on 8 tops?

P.s don't worry about 10" being to big if height is an issue, you can just plant them deeper when you pot up.

And I'm on a shit tablet so can't really see but there looks.like the pots.could do with being filled a little more, about 1" from the top.
Not the most important but I sense your a bit of a perfectionist. (If they are filled up..crackalak on bruva!)

well 4 days under the 400mh and they growing heres a few pics....

the jack herer and afghan look a bit stretchy so iv got them 6-7" away from cooltube

they plants are now 6-7" them selfs and plan on cutting for the first time at the weekend... just put the humidifier in as they look a lot dryer then the did under cfl but temps are bang on

The plants are looking nice and happy there Bud :-)

One thing Iv learned through my trials in mainling is its best to wait for the plant to get well established before topping, just like Nugs said. Around 8" is when he suggests sexing and once sex is known thats when she gets her first topping and trimming then reverted back to veg.

Patience paying off.

I kinda rushed my first ML into flowering. I am appreciating
seeing how this develops.

Looking good budolskie.

Here's how mine are looking after their transplant last night.

They will be trained in these pots until I transplant again to my 11L pots.

as above if you top to soon youll stunt them and never make mid oct, no need to sex as you know there all fems.

youll have to go with 8 tops as your now on a dead line, remember, to get 8 tops you only need 3 cuts 6 days apart, thats 18 days, then you have a few days left over to allow hormones to settle then bang 12/12 donkey dicks!!

well my babys been under the 400w a week today and would like to see if yous agree they are ready to chop! my a kush is now 10"... my blue rhino is also 10" my carmel ice 9" critical 47 is 10" and my jack here is 12" but looking stretchy unsure on to go with the 4 or 5 here the pics in that order see what yous lads recommend will be topping tomoz if so or should I repoot and top

They look it to me budolskie.

They are looking a little stretched though!

Here's a shot of one of mine.
image.jpg

That plant, as are all the others, is now working on node 7. Around 10mm between nodes and currently standing around 6" tall.

J

Yes they are a bit stretchy m8 the tops right at cooltube nowt I can haha but il chop them now and tie down tomoz

Might have been transition from cfl to HID that caused the stretch, possibly along with pot size.

Good indication for transplant is when leaves are over hanging the pot.

J

im going to get them into the 18ltrs in the next couple days after the cuts or do u think i should go and repot them first thing tomoz and finish the chopping in the new pot

Repot to a bigger pot but NOT your final 18L.

Something like a 5L should be good to finish off ALL the training.

If you go straight to your 18L you'll stop above ground growth while roots explore and develop.

J

i have a few 5ltrs lying round aswell, so il get them into 5l tomoz and get the pics up in morning be to plant them a bit deeper aswell
